After doing some research, I found out that medium or soft mattresses are generally better for side sleepers. I tried several mattresses in the showroom and found that medium felt the best, so I decided to go with the Beautyrest World Class Four Medium. The company delivered it with a very professional white glove service and even helped me dispose of my old mattress. My first impression was that the mattress felt soft, just the way I wanted — not too soft to the point of sinking in. Since I had been used to a firm mattress, switching to medium made a noticeable difference in relieving my shoulder pain when sleeping on my side. My shoulder now sinks in more comfortably without being compressed by the mattress. This mattress also feels breathable and cool when lying on it — it doesn’t trap heat. It’s been two weeks since I bought the new mattress, and I’m very satisfied with the comfort of the Beautyrest Medium.

The material itself is so amazing that I could sleep directly on the mattress itself! The comfort and design is amazing. The design lumps just right to where it fits the curves on my body giving my whole body true rest and relaxation. The thickness of this mattress threw me for plenty of hoops! Only issue I'm afraid of it's the sewn design..like if I don't keep it covered the stitching can come loose easy and the whole this could easily be damaged.

As a 20 something, I had a plush pillow top from a luxury brand that I absolutely loved, but as an almost 40 something, we currently have a medium hybrid that I absolutely hate. I need support because I have back issues - female with 2 kids, side sleeper, average height, sits at a desk all day - but I also have a partner who moves a lot and keeps me awake sometimes. After almost a month, I can assure you with this beauty rest mattress, I don’t feel him move at all. Not even slightly. The bed doesn’t get hot, either. Ever since having my first child almost 9 years ago, I am always HOT, especially when I sleep, and this bed stays cool. I no longer wake up with a sore back or body (neck is a different story, but that’s pillow related). Even husband likes the bed and he’s been begging for another plush pillow top. The color is sleek, as well. We have this on an adjustable base and it’s absolutely perfect. I would buy this mattress again and again.

It also does a great job at cooling your body while you sleep. I fall asleep instantly on this mattress and I would highly recommend it for anyone looking for a high quality mattress.

I was nervous if the mattress would be too firm, but it is perfect with the pillow top. I am primarily a back sleeper and this has helped me to not wake up sore in the morning anymore! I wish I would have recognized just how tall this mattress is because at 16”, I now need a new box spring so that this bed is accessible. Using my existing standard box spring, I am able to sit on the bed just fine (though I’m 6’ tall and those shorter than me have to hop and run to sit atop the bed). Aside from the insane amount of loft, the mattress is firm but comfortable. Not to be greedy, but I would encourage BeautyRest and Influenster to encourage the purchase of a matching support/box spring for future promotions.

I am using a box spring with it because I like the additional support for my back. It is an innerspring mattress, but the tag on the mattress states that it can be used with or without a box spring. The color on this mattress is gorgeous, and I really like the handles on the sides of the mattress, which will come in handy when I need to turn it in every few months! This mattress gets a 5 out of 5 stars for its comfort and beauty excellence!

Even with the mattress being a firm that pillow top gives it a nice touch. The mattress is on the taller side being at 14 inches so be mindful about your bed setup. Overall great mattress.
