All of the one star reviews for this product need to understand the difference between ounces and fluid ounces. You are buying a gallon of coconut oil not 8 pounds of coconut oil. Water works that way but coconut oil does not. This is a very good value for refined coconut oil.

If you know the difference in these two measurements, then you will see that they are real close on what they are seeking. They could have used smaller container, but you are getting what they are advertising. Coconut oil 1 fl oz = 0.92oz weighed

This is great for the amount. Refined means not a strong or any coconut flavor. Cook and hand cream is my main uses.

Poor packaging, coconut oil leaked out almost 10 oz of product. Won’t let me up load phones, there was no coconut oil in the middle! Very disappointed. I will not order from this company or brand! An I highly suggest you don’t either!

I ordered this product online. When coconut oil reaches a temperature over 75 degrees it starts to melt. There was no plastic seal to prevent this. It was not packed with bubble wrap so when it was delivered it was upside down. There are no returns for online order on the apps I would have to call which is an inconvenience. So if you decide to order consider ordering in cooler weather. There was no option for a cool pack.

Inaccurate weight. Another reviewer was right. They only fill the container about 70 percent full. The full weight of the bucket, (including the weight of the bucket), is only 125 oz. I would guess there's only about 115 oz of Coconut in here, at best! You can clearly see they're underfilling it, as it's only 70 percent full. If you're using this to make soap, or even if you're not, just know you are absolutely NOT getting a full gallon of coconut oil. You're better off purchasing the Sam's brand of Coconut oil, for the price per oz. They are misleading the amount by underfilling the product severely.

You do not receive 128 fluid ounces; you actually get 116 fluid ounces. The 128-ounce measurement includes the packaging. I purchased eight of these containers over a period of a few weeks and noticed that none of them were full, with some being filled only a little over halfway. I decided to weigh the unopened containers and was shocked to find that they weighed between 126 and 127.8 ounces. Then, I weighed the containers and the oils separately to determine exactly how much oil I was getting. The amounts varied from 116 to 118 ounces, which is 10 ounces less than what was advertised.

I have to agree with the other two reviews that state how severely underfilled these buckets are. My unopened container weighs 7.8 pounds. I paid for 8 pounds of product. I chose this product for my soapmaking business because of the competitive pricing, which I now find is not competitive at all.
