Great tasting but overpriced for what you fer

The meat is too finely ground and didn't have a good flavor. The meat also rendered a lot of fat when frying them for burgers, they shrank considerably. It was a good enough price to give it a try.

Ive been buying these for over a year now and I have never had an issue with it. I must have gotten a bad batch. I will be returning. I'll try another batch with a different date and i hope it will be better. If not, i will no longer be buying meat from sams. This is also the first time im seeing "halal" on the package so im hoping that didnt ruin the meat flavor and smell... ive read its supposed to give it great flavor with this technique so hopefully this is a fluke thing. Smells rotten with a gamey taste.

For the price, it's hard to beat. Do I wish it were 90/10 because we like lean ground beef? Yes. But is it overly greasy? No. Nothing a paper towel can't sop up if it really bothers me. But for burgers, it works great. And to get organic, grass fed beef at Sams is like a hallellujah moment because a) they don't have a lot of organic items compared to their major competitor and b) the quarter beef we bought from a local farmer was fattier than this, so I'm looking forward to buying it again when I run out of the butcher stuff.

This is an "every time I go to Sam's" purchase for me. Eating higher quality/organic meats and produce is very important to my diet, so I always grab a pack when I shop at Sam's. The ground beef is reliably in-stock (which is a constant problem I run into when shopping organic meats), reasonably priced, and tastes great. I highly recommend this product.

Amazing ground beef for the money. The reviewer saying you can find it cheaper somewhere else is full of it I have never seen it anywhere else even close to this cheap.

Likely the worst ground beef I've had. Zero flavor and terrible consistency. It is way over ground giving it a watery mush like texture. Tried making burgers with it, ended up throwing them all away. The people saying it tastes good must never have had beef outside of McDonald's. Avoid!
