My husband is a back and I’m a stomach sleeper - this gives us both enough support and we wake up with no back pain whatsoever. This is one of the best firm mattresses I have owned. As I age I now prefer firmer mattresses due to back pain. This is the perfect firmness, being firm enough but not so hard that it hurts my bones when I lay on it. This is probably due to the layer of cushioning at the top. Overall it is supportive with its pocketed coils. It is holding up in shape with usage. This mattress is reasonable when it comes to heat absorbance and retention. I don't feel overheated sleeping on it. This is a quality mattress and I think it will last for some years. I am loving this mattress so far!
