After installing the lights, I was filled with anticipation to witness the results. Initially, they appeared fantastic and added a beautiful touch to the surroundings. However, my excitement turned into disappointment as the lights began to peel off, starting with just a few here and there. In an attempt to salvage the situation, I made the decision to drill and screw them in place. Unfortunately, the following day, nearly every single light peeled off again, leaving me dissatisfied with the overall outcome. As of now, they are mostly in place, but I'll have to pretty much add a screw to every single light.

I absolutely love the pro outdoor lights. What I hate is that you can't get extra controllers. There is no reason for this. Separate zones or even a replacement for a lightning strike or power surge are valid reasons for them. All the forums complain about this.

The lights themselves are pretty great and preform well. The sticky adhesive for placing on the house do NOT work well. I followed the instructions and wiped down the surface and pressed each light against the house firmly for over 5 seconds and so far 11 of the lights have fallen off. I've tried swapping out for the replacements adhesives and they are just as bad. I've had to use the screw supports on all the falling lights. I also got new screws because the ones that came with kit are very cheap and weak. Lights are cool though.

I really really love the lights and so many of my neighbors have been complementing me on them however, I do feel like the app is a little difficult to navigate. Maybe I am just learning, but my daughter has taught me how to do it and I still struggle a lot with it, so I wish it would be more useful friendly

Where do i start we spent alot of money to get a box of led lights that never even lit up. We connected them all and tried multiple outlets and nothing just dead. I have called and left a message with Govee and multiple emaills for help i just submitted a return not buy these they are trash.

I don't write reviews often, but with an expensive product as this, and based on my experience I felt obliged to leave some thoughts. The lights themselves look awesome, even in a heavily populated suburban area with tons of ambient lighting. Love the color options, and the white tones are perfect. The major downside, which others have experienced, is the poor adhesion of the tape. My surfaces were cleaned and prepped well, and just about every single light on my 100ft strand failed. To remedy, I used hot glue, zip ties and more. This was even more problematic on my second floor, where access was hard enough - getting there a second time and with glue and more tools was tough. All of this ended up with costs above the expected. Would I buy again? Probably. Because it's still cheaper than hiring an electrician to put in outdoor recessed lighting. However, I would go straight to glue, clips and zip ties prior to even attempting adhesive.

These lights are just beautiful! The options you have are so vast and if the preset ones are not enough, the DIY options are there to make them exactly how you want! I can't wait to get more and go around the house and our equipment barn! If you can't tell by now, I HIGHLY recommend these for your outdoor lighting needs!

The second I lit up the lights, my 84 year old neighbor came outside and shouted out "Its beautiful!". I spoke to her and with tears in her eyes, she told me she doesn't get around well and hasn't seen any kind of Christmas lights in several years. She told me she really appreciated that I went all out and that she gets to see them. The fact they were super simple to install/ setup and look amazing (best display in the neighborhood) makes the cost well worth it! I plan on going even bigger next year, but working on it throughout the year since they are pretty much year round type lights! Thank you Govee for such a wonderful product. **Video has Govee Curtain lights (x3) and Govee Outdoor Permanent lights, as well as a star shower laser effect and points of light effect.

The brightness and colors of these lights are amazing. Exceptionally easy to setup and secure easily to aluminum soffits. I would like it if they sold a permanent bracket to use with rivets or self taping screws just for peace of mind. The app is easy to use and allows a decent amount of customization. I do wish they allowed you to line up the light on the horizontal plane, meaning I have 2 roof peaks that overlap and i would like to have them mirror each other. Overall, no regrets, just a minor wishlist.

The Govee Pro is the way to go if you are going to need cuts and extensions. I was amazed at how bright the lights were at just 40% brightness. It took me about 2 hours total to install around 75 feet, which included installing extra wire clips (ones not included) to ensure everything stays in place without any wires sagging. The ONLY con I have is the lack of instructions on how to utilize the app with them. You will have to use Google or Youtube to search for instructional videos on using the app. I'd like to see Govee add something like that to their web site.
