All I can say is WOW! My wife, kids and I love these lights. Installation was extremely easy (although we have a two story house and climbing the ladder is a little scary). The lights are very bright, the colors are vibrant, and the app was very easy to set up (plug in the lights and the app picked them up right away). Only been up for 4 days, so lets just hope they last a long time, because I do not want to climb back up the ladder.

They work great and look great. The only issue is the white cords. I wish they had color options for the cords like brown, black, white and bronze. Those are the typical house colors. The way my house is. I can't hide the lights under anything. So I have to put it on the stucco. And the white shows badly.

The lights were difficult to install primarily because of the 4 clips that need to be screwed into every strand of lights. The screws provided do not fit into a standard Philips head bit making it a difficult job when working off of an extension ladder. The other issue is the lights can only be controlled from the GOVEE App. The app is not user friendly, requires an internet connection and is a bit of a PIA to navigate through. There should be an option to use the controller to change light settings. The lights should be brighter or more lights per strand. Not worth the money in my opinion.

Love these lights! The combo of pre-programmed settings and DIY controls is fantastic. Plus, I'm only scratching the surface of the capacity of these lights. Installation was fairly straightforward. A couple of the 3M adhesive squares didn't function as well as the others. Overall, though, these are a great product with solid equipment.

These lights are beautiful but they only lasted 2 days. I had them professionally installed and now they're up all around my house and don't work. A whole grouping stopped working and it was tough getting a response from Govee. Finally a refund was issued but without much communication. Too bad. I had high hopes.

We are very impressed with the service and speed that we received in getting replacement lights. We have the lights installed and everything is working great. We will refer all our friends to Govee. Again Thanks very much. Definitely appreciate everything you've done for us.

I love the idea of the permanent Christmas lights. We bought a 150' string and a 50' string. The installation was a bit harder than I thought. I think it would be easier if the lights themselves had an area for a screw or clip to go through rather than having to install that separately. Also, I would like to see some additional lights per string so they are a bit closer together. Also more color options. White and now black with the Pro is a good start, but how about tan and brown too? My house is tan and the white stick out like a sore thumb. I do love the colors though and the pre-sets in the app are great! I'd like to see Apple Homekit available with the light strings. I have an iPhone and bought the non-pro (the Pro were not in stock and I didn't even see them on your website until after mine were up). Why not make the non-pro work with Apple Homekit too?

I just finished installing 300 ft of white pro permanent lights. Connecting lights and setup, splicing was all very easy. My only complaint is with the adhesive for lights don't work long term and not enough clips for each light. I had lights falling off in less than 24 hours (appropriate prep was completed). Because I had done my research I had expected this and used the included clips at each light…there wasn't enough clips for each light as that is probably not the intention of those clips. As a DIY homeowner I don't want to have to worry about the adhesive coming off and having to get back up on ladder months or years later to fix a hundred lights when I can use screws to secure them once and be done. There should be more secure way to keep these lights maintenance free because most people won't trusts the adhesive to work long term for every light.

Had em for a few weeks now and they look beautiful! Gotten a lot of compliments from the neighbors as well. They definitely look much more dramatic than regular holiday lights. The 3M sticky tape makes them easy to install. Did it myself on first floor roofing with just an 8ft ladder. Some math: They come in 16ft strands of 10 lights each. So 100ft would be 6 strands x 10 lights = 60 lights. Lights are about 20 inches apart center to center. I’ve had a lot of fun with the effects, particularly the syncing to music on my phone, which is easy to do with the app. Enjoy delighting/torturing your neighbors!

I love these lights and the color range etc, HOWEVER I am beyond frustrated with them falling off/not sticking properly! We even primed the area first to ensure that they would stick! Trying to find brackets to somehow secure them instead…., had they come with the kit I would have given them 5stars
