They have now been up a week and everyone loves them. Still need to see how long they last but i put them up with a wire clip at every light so that should help. They look amazing and have a ton of features and options. Wish I would have had this sooner!

I can not begin to explain how happy I am with these lights. Installation was a breeze and the result was phenomenal. I bet it took me about two hours, with a lunch break in between, to hang the 100ft set. I set them roughly 3.5" away from the eve and used a bracket on the chord every 3-4 feet. When I turned them on, I was like "DOPE!" Transformed the look of my house. Also, while I was out front playing with the different scenes, my neighbor asked me what they were and where I got them. So, if you're on the fence, don't be. Worth every penny.

Since I installed these lights all my neighbors can't get their own fast enough. Anytime I'm outside with them on they stop an ask ( WHERE DO YOU GET YOUR LIGHTS! ) Only issue I'm having is the 3m tape on some aren't holding up very well and I'm ever so often having to push them back up ( thank goodness my home is a single story ) but other then that I love them !

Did receive the lights and installed them, had a slight issue that once I received them they went on sale. Govee was very gracious in refunding me the amount in the difference. So far they have been very reasonable and easy to work with. No issues so far and would recommend them to anyone

200 ft took me about 3 hours to put up, and another 3 hours to clean up, conceal wires, install adhesive clips, etc... I would suggest not installing the wire support clips until you have run the show for a few days. You may want to adjust the position of the lights, and this will help woth that. Also, you can cut the wires, and make short extensions no problem. This is useful for small jumps in the eaves if the roof line changes to gBle end or something. I just drilled a hole in the eave, and tucked my extension connections into the eave to keep it dry and weatherproof. Then come back with cauking and seal the hole.

Only a few days in but really like it so far. Had 1 3m sticky that came loose and replaced it and all good for the first 4 days. Even customized the bulb color and that was easy too. However, 100 lights took about 3 hours to install so a bit time consuming, plan accordingly. I also did not realize it had a power brick that cannot get wet and was not prepared, make sure you have a way to keep that up and dry.

I installed 150' of the outdoor permanent lights along the eaves of my house the week before July 4th. They were simple to install and look great! I. Also installed were 3 sets of 2 Govee floodlights as well. Setup was simple and have them setup to come on every night automatically. My neighbors are so jealous! The options are endless on what these things can do. Thanks Govee

That's what my wife said after I finally got them up, which was an easy task. Just one problem. I've got an extra string lights and no controller. The lights on the front of the house look great efficiently and I'm pleased, Would also love to have Poote an extra set of lights across the garage that would've been beautiful. Wish you guys would also sell an extra controller. I know it will make your customers even happier.

Anyone giving these 1 star are only mad because they couldn't get their hands on them, not because they don't actually like the product. I did manage to get my hands on these - kept an eye on the in-stock dates for months and got them on my second attempt to buy (the first time, Govee mistakenly launched them an hour earlier than what they said the in-stock time would be). These were shipped extremely fast and delivered to me in well under a week. I will say, I'm rounding up with the 5-star rating because I have to; in truth, I deduct half a star for the very minimal hardware included to affix the lights in any real permanent way. Each 16.4ft strand comes with six 10mm LED light clips that you can screw in; one for every 4 lights. Aside from that, each light has a 3M adhesive backing that I guess they expect to do the job of holding the vast majority of lights up year-round - except, the reason I bought these is because adhesive hooks weren't doing the job for my traditional holiday lights and definitely would still not do the job with these. So, I went on Amazon and bought 100 more of the type of screw-in clips that came with these (search “Hysmigor transparent Strip Light Clips"and thank me later). We put one on each side of each light (in addition to using the 3M adhesive backing), which was time consuming, but now we know beyond the shadow of a doubt that these lights aren't going anywhere. And all that was totally worth it! I just love them. So easy to set-up with the Govee app and manage alongside your other Govee lights (I'm not employed by Govee, I swear, but these outdoor lights are a new addition to my existing collection of TV strip lights, gym floor lights, and interior car lights from Govee. I wouldn't have so many if they weren't extremely easy to set up/use, and weren't truly adding value and joy to my life). The fact that I can not only leave these up year round and never have to hang Christmas lights again, but also change the color scheme for each holiday and gathering, makes these worth every penny and hour spent hanging them up. We are even using them as neutral flood lights outside in between holidays, as our yard is otherwise very dark. Finally took the plunge this year and bought a couple sets of Govee LED permanent lights. After a little prep work, the installation was a breeze. We have the house lights on 2 different timers. Christmas theme on the house until 11:00pm and then plain whites at 50% until sunrise. Along with the curtain lights, our house is again the talk of the neighborhood!
