Money well spent. Although it is time consuming to put up, it went well. The nails for the light covers which are used to secure the light/wiring, were extremely short so I used a staple gun to install the covers. I had one length of lights that I did not use for the front and sides of my house and I wish that I could buy the power source by itself, but the company does not sell them by themselves. Overall the lights are great.

Purchase and delivery was prompt. However a week in the lights turned off. Support was responsive and are suppose to send me out a replacement controller and power supply though not exactly sure what they will send and when as the support reply was not as formal, felt like was some spam response. Replied back with some suggestions on how to make a customer feel comfortable to provide requested information and a complete understanding of what they are sending and a tracking number will be useful. Well it’s been about 4 days and hadn’t received the replacement. In parallel, researched online for the issue I was having with blinking power adapter light, turned out quite a few having it. Ordered a generic dc adapter online with spec output and received in two days and working fine while I wait for my replacement. We’ll see! On flip side, lights look great, app requires getting use to as there are a lot of features that take some trial and error time. Suggest getting aftermarket mounts (as I did from other reviews) when installing as quite a pain to ladder up on two story homes with big peaks to install and you only want to do that once. Love the pro as the splicing was easy and love the ability to cut wherever and insert end caps…for the 200ft would love to have some extra extensions as you can be limited depending how many cuts you make. We’ll see how things go, didn’t use up all my 200ft just yet. Will probably extend it thru side and back of house in spring…we’ll see if it the 200ft limitation includes all the extensions they include!

I am loving the permanent outdoor lights, especially from Govee! Plus, the wife loves them so that’s always a good thing, haha. At first, I was hesitant because of the price and not knowing too much about the product, but it has superseded all my expectations. They were very easy to install and very easy to setup on the app. I would recommend these lights and anything Govee as a whole to anyone and everyone. Well worth it!

Had them professionally installed as you should unless you are an electrician. I could have installed them but my family needs me to not be falling off ladders at my age. So I let a professional do it and use a lift to get to the roofline on our house. Could not be happier with the results.

This would be a 5 star review except for a couple of things. Good: The setup was easy. I had to make a small jump which required a splice and the color code wires and splice connector made this extremely easy. I'm no electrician by the way. Once the lights were up and powered the app setup was a breeze as well. Lots of different light setups are available, and if you're savvy you can create your own light styles. Bad: Govee provides wire clips but not enough to put 2 on each light. I feel like this would be easy to fix, and the clips seem necessary because the 3M tape isn't that great. The splice connector, while easy to use seems like it's oversized. It's hard to hide or tuck away.

When I purchased the lights I loved them but they didnt even last a year i only used them for Halloween and Christmas and they stopped working the next season I tried to turn them on and they didnt work I sent a video in showing the problem and asked how to fix it they said they dont sell that model anymore but offered a 10 percent discount to buy more. I looked online and still see they sell the same model. I dont think they are worth as much as they cost if they dont even last more than a year.

The mounting tape on the lights is too weak, so the clips are a requirement. Since the tape is so weak, the lights don't stay connected to the surface they're applied to and then hang at an angle, which makes the lights project inconsistently. Really disappointed.

I bought 3 segments of these lights and only 2 will power up. They are supposed to support up to 9 segments. I was told by support to reorder the segements. Wow, nice since they've already been installed. I've tried every combination and they even sent new lights & I still cannot get a 3rd segment to power up. PRO TIP: Light them all up first before installing them but nice when they work.

We absolutely love these lights. They transformed the look of our home. The installation was straightforward, the quality feels solid, and the app is incredibly easy to use. These were really easy to install (I used a boom lift) and the configuration was straightforward. Don't forget to select the appropriate number of segments in the app when setting these up. I've integrated mine into our Home Assistant so they automatically come on at sunset and the theme changes based on the time of year and holidays.
