Overall 1 month of use and love them, technically help was slow due to only doing it by email, and have to have great detail in getting support accomplish. But they fixed it. Time will tell if the thin 3m tape is good enough, I added the extra clips, but it should have more because i dont want to go on my tall roof again.

I purchased the Permanent outdoor light pro and was very happy. The instructions were clear and concise, and it was easy to splice the wiring where needed. I was able to light up and upper gable with ease and have one continuous stand to complete the 200 feet of lighting around 3/4 of the house. I am on a corner lot so the 200 foot covered all the visible areas from the road. I need to read up on the app to use some of the other features but so far I was able to use the preset holiday lighting features for Christmas. The one item I have concerns about was the power supply states for indoor use only on the back of the unit. I found this kind of odd since this is an outdoor kit but I have the unit tucked under the soffits and out of any area where it could get wet. The adhesive works well but the soffits have an indented ridge so some of the lights traverse the indented area so there is little adhesive hitting each edge. I have to watch these areas and may have to attach some additional support in the future. Overall, a great product and have had a lot of compliments from the neighbors. I can't wait to use them for other holidays or special events.

Lights were easy to connect and install. The two sided tape is not the strongest and have had multiple lights come loose since installing. Luckily there are plenty of the plastic screw clips that will hold the lights in place. The phone app has so many different options and takes a little time to get the hang of things. Overall, I’m happy with the purchase and would recommend to anyone considering.

The lights took more than 2 hours to set up by my electrician only to start falling down after a few days. My neighbor, who had the same lights said he had to buy special nails to anchor them in place because the nails that came with the lights did not work for him. This now meant paying someone to set up the lights again and buying other tools. Also concerned about the integrity of the outdoor modulator which i read from another review seem to malfunction in the rain. This task of putting up the now became a very expensive project, only to find I may not get completely reimbursed for my purchase. For me, this was an expensive lesson which only left me feeling frustrated and miserable. The fee to return the item was very high since I purchased directly from the company. The nightmare only continues.

The light display on our home is spectacular. We have received many nice compliments from friends, neighbors and people that have driven by. The app is easy to use and we do. We change them regularly, keeping the neighbors guessing. We have had several lights come unstuck, but mostly because the paint on the house wasn’t good in that spot. We then added more clips.

I love everything about these lights. Except for the mounting stickers. I spent an hour cleaning rhe surface of each spot i stuck the lights to, but after just a few days, they started to fall off. I tried using the inclided cable holders but the screws that came with them strip very easily. I think the only option is to find someone who makes the actual mounting brackets for them. Aside from that the UI is amazing. The hookup and the extra extenders that come with the set were a huge help to make it look uniform all the way around the house. Overall they are a great addition to our govee home and i will be buying more from you guys gor sure.

The lights are great, the app SUCKS!!! I cannot get the app to work to save my life! Other than getting them to change to a solid color, I cannot do anything fancy like making them Red/white/blue for Memorial Day. I have watched NUMEROUS videos and read reviews, and they all have the OLD, EASY version of the app. No one can help me with this - I have contacted support numerous times and all they give me is a link that I already have and still cannot get the lights to operate like they should. I am VERY VERY DISAPPOINTED SO FAR!!!!

This is one of the best if not the best purchases of lights I have made. The installation was easy and they look great. The different light patterns available through the Govee app makes it so we can use the lights year-round not just at Christmas.Our family likes the lights so much so that both of our sons are putting them on their homes.

I absolutely *LOVE* these lights!! They are amazing!! You can have a single color, multiple colors, or you can make every light a different color! They can be on, they can chase, "twinkle", and more!! I always wanted lights for every holiday but it was too expensive and too much work to put them up and take them down. These lights went up so easily. It didn't take any longer than putting up regular holiday lights. I love the APP control. You can control the brightness of the lights, and even set multiple timers for when you want them on and off. If you create your own color scheme, you can "snapshot" it so it saves it, and you can use it later! If you don't want to make your own color scheme, you can choose from one of many beautiful pre-loaded displays. I don't have anything negative to say, and I recommend them to all!

We’re really loving the lights and certainly as of right now (2 weeks post-install) no regrets. So many lighting scenes and color options and customizations to choose from. I read a review before buying these lights that helped me plan my installation I want to share: be prepared to use a cord-management U-bracket of some kind for each light. The lights come with a 3M sticker on the bottom of the light that sticks to the soffit, but in my case (even after cleaning the soffit) they starting unsticking after the first day. So plan to add a small bracket (I used a bracket and drilled a 1” drywall screw to attach) for each light to anchor the lights.
