We love the way the lights look and the amount of colors and themes you can choose from. They do not provide enough clips. They give you 3 per strand but they kept falling down and not sticking. Probably since it was cold out. We had to buy extras so we can put them on every light.

Testing the lights prior to installation showed the individual light strings worked as they should. Testing for adequate Wifi signal based on location of the equipment also proved satisfactory. As for installation of the light strings, the small screws supplied were very difficult to use. I had to make a trip to the hardware store to purchase screws easier to work with (screws requiring the use of at least a number 2 size phillips screw driver). I recommend that Govee include larger screws moving forward. As for the lights, they look very nice at night. I relied on our daughter to help us program the lights to our liking. I am quite satisfied with the light set and recommend it to people who want to install lights that don’t need to be uninstalled and can be used to highlight other seasons and celebrations through the years. Love our lights!! I love all the different settings to change the colors. It's also cool that you can program them to go to music. We did that when we had guests arriving for a party. My only issues have been that some of them keep falling even though I cleaned the areas prior to hanging the lights. We are trying to figure out a solution to keep them up permanently (since that's the point). Also, I originally paired the lights with my phone, but when my bf tried to pair with his phone, he was successful; however, it unpaired me. We haven't figured out how to have both of our phones control the lights. If there's a way, please reach out. Overall, love the lights and am very very happy with my purchase.

I would reccomend using the supplied brackets if your soffits aren't perfectly flat and use rubbing alcohol to clean the surface before you stick the 3M tape. A lot of reviews complain about the tape not sticking but if you clean the mating surface properly, it will stick just fine. Again, the brackets give extra security to make sure the lights stay in place. The lights look great and I love the fact that I won't have to hang lights now every year.

They were nice for about a week, then stopped working. Hoping that support can assist me with getting them working again. I'm also hoping for app updates that allow for more smart features like having a dusk to dawn option that knows my location and when sunset happens to allow it to automatically turn the lights on at dusk and have them turn off after x amount of hours. Right now, it's limited to 3 hours and 59 minutes after an event for whatever reason. I'd control it with Home Assistant instead, but Home assistant can't find my device on the network for some reason. For now, my lights are all installed and not working even though the power supply appears to be working and the controller is responding to the mobile app, but no lights turn on.

I love the lights on my house they look great! The only down side is when you buy the longest set of lights and it doesn’t come with enough cord or connectors and they won’t sell it separate. So now I have lights that need to go on my dormers with no way to install them. The app is great and the look amazing, they just need to up their game on the stuff you may need.

Money well spent. Although it is time consuming to put up, it went well. The nails for the light covers which are used to secure the light/wiring, were extremely short so I used a staple gun to install the covers. I had one length of lights that I did not use for the front and sides of my house and I wish that I could buy the power source by itself, but the company does not sell them by themselves. Overall the lights are great.

I waited far too long to buy the Govee permanent outdoor light. But it’s done! I bought them. They are fantastic. Got em installed just before Halloween and the options available were perfect. Blinking dark red and scaring the kiddos as they were walking up, it was hilarious and magical. Had the red white and blue colors going for Election Day and am looking forward to Christmas and the options available for that. Overall a wonderful purchase. Talked my parents into getting it for their house so they never have to change out Christmas lights ever again.

These lights are amazing. I have 4 strings of them on the eaves of my house. I have the house outlined in red and green for Christmas, red for Valentines Day, green for St. Patricks day, and red/white/blue for the 4th of July. (I think you get the picture:-)

I'm inlove with my Govee outdoor pro lights. My favorite feature is the AI scene option. Let me tell you, pretty much anything you could think of is brought to life just by telling AI what you want. My husband bought the Govee lights for me as a Christmas gift. Best gift ever. Thank you Govee!
