I absolutely love my lites on the outside front of my house. The gentleman that put them up had an easy time putting them up. I would turn my lites on differently every nite, but I’m sure my neighbors would hate me after a while. My grandkids love coming to Grandma’s and being surprised as to which lites will be on.

Just finished the installation a few days ago. We love them! My wife is thrilled with the brilliant colors while I am happy to never hang Christmas lights again. One of my favorite features is the ability to control each light individually, and the add effects like chase, fade, etc. Extremely flexible and customizable. The control app on the phone is great. The only thing that could improve is the clips. I chose not to use them. Too cumbersome while standing on a ladder 20 feet in the air.

I have purchased 2 of 100ft black permanent lights II. I've had nothing but compliments on them. My neighbor liked them so much he bought some and paid me to install them. Wife is looking forward to lighting up every Holiday! The only downside to these lights versus the commercial grade Christmas lights I professionally install is you "Y" off at any point in the libe to add a dormer, and you can't "Y" off of the lights at any point or even at the connection points between sections. If you're using a pattern on the Govee lights then a "Y" would basically split the sequence at that point, which to me... would be fine. So, if they would offer a "Y" I'm sure that would be a helpful selling point.

I hoped the pro model would have brackets to affix the lights and the 3M tape. While the tape is excellent, I live in Colorado Springs, where the sun shines intensely 350 days a year, and the temperature swings from day to night can be 40° or more. My neighbor's Elite model came with nice brackets, while mine only came with wire clips. So, while I used those everywhere I could (note that there are not enough for every light on the string), I would prefer the nice brackets with the top-end model. Otherwise, these are awesome. The Govee app needs a better "Apple" version. It is a little convoluted, and the lexicon used is a little odd. More Apple-like polish and less of a tacky Android app would be nice. I like all the Govee products I have, including the heaters that were recently recalled. Unfortunately, they were reliable via HOOBS into HomeKit. Now I have to hack some Dreos into my ecosystem.

I'm so pleased with the results of the Govee Permanent Outdoor Lights Pro installation. It was a lot of work, I 3D printed clips to attach them to my house, and it's all been very much worth it. Since then I've added Govee Dots, Icicles, Curtains, pathway, yard puck lights, projectors, and motion/presence sensors and started using the light show box as well.

In process of installing now. I would highly suggest purchasing some aftermarket light brackets that screw on. The 3m tape is NOT going to hold your lights up. I would also like to see clear instructions for the driver installation. Between the 5th and 6th strings sounds pretty straight forward until you get into it. What if 3 of the first 5 strings is only 3,4,5 lights long? Should it say to install after the 50th light puck? All that said, the lights seem to be of excellent quality. And the install is going very nicely after getting the aforementioned light brackets. Will update when complete.

It’s what our home needed. They go up like a piece of cake. Just remember the cables and power units and what not need to be out of the elements. It is a really cool application for your home and it’s so customizable. I really really like them. If you can spend the money I’d say it’s a phenomenal investment. No more hanging Christmas lights on my gutters!

Its a game changer. Definitely an upgrade when it comes to lighting for the holidays and its year round? Gotta love it. No more climbing ladders. Once its set up, you never have to worry about taking them down. Gives off amazing colors. Very bright. And makes your home look 10x better.

I got these because I wanted the brighter output (50 vs 40 lumens on the Outdoor Lights Pro), but didn't realize that they cheated you on the back end by making the lights much further apart--four inches further apart for every light! That is a LOT fewer lights for a LOT more money.

Lights are awesome. Not enough extension cord for 200 ft lights and they kept falling off. Had to order custom made brackets for additional cost I was not aware of needing. Also, one directional splitting should be more flexible. Happy with the lights overall but getting them up and staying on the house is not as easy as it sounds nor does the kit come equipped properly.
