These lights (if installed by the directions )work great ..The app is a little difficult to use but I am older and not very computer savey..I love the effects and colors and wish that they could be a little bit brighter..Overall I am very happy with these lights and the app ..Great job Govee.. Tip: I sprayed contact adhesive to the soffit and the string lights and had no problem with them sticking..

Purchased to use during Christmas but the product failed to turn on. Paid an electrician to install and when the time came to turn on and connect via the Govee Home app, nothing. Hours of troubleshooting. Seems like the control box. Emailed, called, ticket opened. Rapid replacement and not one communication to ensure a replacement would be sent. If these lights were not already attached to my home I would probably just returned for a refund and took a loss on the labor.

I was told about these lights maybe two months ago and now I have a permanent installer for my company which now because of this great product it has introduced another side of landscaping that is fun and always something different to look forward to with every install!! Highly recommend this product for any type of property or building both residential and commercial! Can’t wait to see what in hold for the future for Govee products. Definitely a must 10 out of 10. Good quality and craftsmanship and can look good on a apartment all the way to multi million dollar homes!

The ease of install and the ease of these awesome lights makes them one of my top purchases in the last 3 years. I'm so happy I decided to get these for my home and install them. The install was so simple and the lights make the house feel and look amazing. I love Govee and the lights and worth every penny. I would not wait around to decide. Get them know if you can even find them. Thanks Govee.

They have now been up a week and everyone loves them. Still need to see how long they last but i put them up with a wire clip at every light so that should help. They look amazing and have a ton of features and options. Wish I would have had this sooner!

I really like how the lights looks like at night and the way they are fully customizable and the presets makes them one of a kind. The only reason I am not giving this product a 5 star review is for the fact that the lights keep falling down. The adhesive is not strong enough. I ended up having to use gorilla glue gel to keep them in place.

They dont support extra controller or support if we have extra lights. The outdoor lights and outdoor lights 2 will not even support connection to each other. Seems like a SCAM so that you buy lights when each iteration of same kind of lights comes out. Having them not have back combability with Govee Permanent Outdoor Lights is a very scummy move from this company.

Let me start off by saying I am not nore have I ever been employed or compensated in any way by Govee! I say that because I already know I'm about to sound like their spokesperson but I assure you these are my true feelings about the product. Since putting these permanent lights on my house I have had without exaggeration a stranger stop me to ask a question or compliment the lights no less than every other day. Just recently my girlfriend had an entire box of business cards printed with Govee's name and website because people constantly want to know where they can get them! These are not regular LEDs by any stretch of the imagination, each LED is extremely bright and large. The design of the lens makes it look like each individual light has a lampshade and the light washes down your entire wall essentially painting it whatever color is selected at the moment. You can pretty much set any kind of scene with these lights, everything from loud flashy colors to very subtle highlights. The price for these lights is so low compared to comparable lights that serve the same function you might think that they are inferior or cheap but I am here to tell you you would be wrong. I'm not really sure how Govee is able to produce such high quality products at a fraction of the price of their competitors but it is not because quality is left behind. Another huge advantage is the fact that the Govee app is free and allows you to customize every single aspect of every single light on every single product they make! As a long time purple tint company customer I can tell you Govee it's truly a breath of fresh air! In conclusion my advice is you cannot go wrong with this product. I highly recommend it, and I highly recommend you check out the other products Govee produces.

You can absolutely believe all the reviews about the horrible 3M sticker pads that fall off before you blink. I just got through 2 miserable days of hanging 311 ft of lights in 2 days in Central Texas where the temperature was almost ideal for them to stick. I followed the directions to a T and destroyed my arms cleaning each landing zone where a light would stick. After the first day I noticed a few lights to go back and re-stick them. By the end of the 2nd day I would say close to 50% of the lights fell off. Incredibly frustrating considering how many hours I had just spent hanging the lights. I was hoping they would have stuck longer so I could get around to securing them underneath my soffit, but no such luck (and the plastic tabs they give you to reinforce them are a PITA to use so I opted to use my staple gun. Unfortunately they just kept falling off and what should have been completer in 1 weekend will now take 2 to go back around and stick them back up and staple them permanently. Govee really needs to read the reviews and change course with the garbage 3M stickers. False advertising with the word "Permanent" being a part of the lights. Be aware that the middle yellow cable is super thin and rips very easily while splicing. Other than that the lights are awesome. I'm looking forward to when the lights actually become permanent and I can use them longer than the 3 hours I had them on before more lights fell off...

The quality of the RGBIC LED Permanent Outdoor Lights is exceptional. All electrical connections are weatherproofed and the quality of the lights and cabling is great. The user interface through the app is also amazing. So many options to set up our lights to the occasion is why we chose Govee. I love these lights!!
