Well I love the effect , I DONT love the fact that MY FIRST set of PERMANENT LIGHTS the power module FAILED and NOW I have to REMOVE AND REINSTALL the PERMANENT LIGHTS and hope the Module DOSNT FAIL AGAIN. The module NEVER got WET supposed to be WATER RESISTANT ANYWAY, so I'll try the NEW ONES and see what happens!

Where do i start we spent alot of money to get a box of led lights that never even lit up. We connected them all and tried multiple outlets and nothing just dead. I have called and left a message with Govee and multiple emaills for help i just submitted a return not buy these they are trash.

I love the lights and abilities with the app. However the lights fail to stick well to the surface and have been having to reapply them on a daily basis often requiring me to keep putting the ladder up. I used the automation system to create a schedule for both separate strands for 150 feet but only one side adheres to schedule and must manually turn on other strands from the app. I love the capabilities and endless options of scenic lights I just wish they stuck better and turned on properly via set automation.

Highly recommend these lights. There are so many modes/scenes to pick from. Can’t wait to use these year round with the warm white option during the off holiday seasons. Had them up for almost a week and they are all still sticking very well under the very windy/wet conditions.

These lights are just beautiful! The options you have are so vast and if the preset ones are not enough, the DIY options are there to make them exactly how you want! I can't wait to get more and go around the house and our equipment barn! If you can't tell by now, I HIGHLY recommend these for your outdoor lighting needs!

Okay, they are brand new and would love to give a review in 5 years. So far so good the only complaint is the app is a bit confusing and twinkle is more like strobe at times, we only like a few of the presets and are having to try and learn to get them to due what we want them to, it is a big learning curve but hoping we can get there eventually.

Can't wait to hang them up. Too cold here in Buffalo right now. But the lights look very bright from testing them. Just wished they would update the app with more selections of colors to choose from for holidays. Sad there is not a Red/White/Blue display option for 4th of July

I am so happy with my Govee 150' light install. I watched a bunch of YouTube videos on installation for tips and tricks. A week before installing I power washed. The day of installation I used rubbing alcohol on each light location as I went along. This should ensure a lifetime of adherence. I used a small block for spacing from the edges so all lights are uniform. Turning the lights on for the first time I felt like Clark Griswold! It's amazing to see the different lighting scenes come to life from the Govee Home app. I've set my schedule to come on at 4:30pm and turn off at 11:55pm. Once the holidays get in full swing I'll change it up for longer times and appropriate scenes. Can't wait for Christmas!!

Overall we love the lights the 3m doesn't stick that well in this crazy Texas heat so reinforcement is definitely needed. I just wish the wiring came in other colors other than white, just adding a choice or black or brown along with the white would be awesome to help blend in the soffits better.

Had bought the 100 ft "Permanent Outdoor Lights Elite" version (Costco/Sam's Club Exclusive) but ended up a little short. The 16.4 ft "Outdoor Lights 2" extension is identical to the Elites and only requires adjusting "Numbers of Segments" in the Govee app to work.
