Volume knob would now work. It was full blast all the time. My kids had to use it outside for the one day that we had it because my mommy ears could not handle it. We ended up returning it.

Affordable fun karaoke

This is basically a speaker. It plays music that you connect to it via your phone or a tablet. It does not however display the words to the songs. If you download songs via a USB, you have the songs but no lyrics, so if you want to sing, you better know the words. Fun for kids if they just want to amplify voice and sing, or use the voice changing function, but it is not a karoke machine that you can sing along to a word display with.

This is a very fun machine for kids and adults however after purchasing two and having issues with the microphone i'm not sure. It's not fun having to share a mic to sing a song. The first mic had a piece dangling inside of it so i returned that one to wait a month until the kids came over to open it to not be able to use the second mic because it wouldn't charge. Other than that i think it's a great device to have fun with. I will be returning this one as well and i hope they have some in stock.

The machine works fine and is extremely light weight. It is so light, it almost feels like a toy but it actually works. It was very easy to set up and use. The instructions could be on a larger form factor making it easier for an old guy like me to read. That was the big reason I only gave it 4 stars out of 5.

1. the volume knob is useless. the volume stays the same on this when using the microphoens. it's useless--the volume knob is also very sensitive near the off position--get too close to it and the microphones disconnect and the machines turn off and you have to reconnect the microphones. my kids were getting quite angry. 2. major microphone delay/latency. 3. the voice effects are cool, but i can't trust any reviews here that gives this 5 reviews. incentivized reviews have killed the retail market.

The after-sales customer service directly with the manufacturer is by far the best I've come across recently. They were kind, understanding, sent out the replacements without any hassles. The product itself is fun and the customer service just makes it a phenomenal purchase.
