Rec'd two devices: My first lamp worked fine for about 1 week and stopped working on. Tried troubleshooting and still not working. The company sent me a replacement and this device 1st day out the box would just flash red and I could not control the device with the remote. I would say at this time the device is NOT the best lamp to purchase and highly suggest to look the other way. Maybe the 2.0 will work better when it's released.

Amazing light, started with the bulbs in a few lights around the house and have been looking for something to replace a lamp in our living room it is exactly what I was looking for easy to set up and operate. Love that it has a remote to control on and off. Will be purchasing more Govee lights for the house.

I had researched these types of lights and I purchased 2 Govee Lyra lamps within 3 months. The second lamp worked for a few days before it just stopped working, I contacted support and while they were polite and responsive, they were also annoying. They didn't read the comments in my request and repeatedly kept suggesting the same troubleshooting steps and asked for a video demonstrating a totally non-functioning lamp. I eventually got the lamp replaced and now the second lamp stopped working. Here we go again. I'd performed all of the troubleshooting steps and now they are insisting on a video showing the lamp not turning on. This is one of the dumbest and most infuriating support experiences I've ever encountered. I will just trash this garbage product and not bother to pursue the replacement; I suspect the replacement product will be of poor quality as well. Their support rep states that their QC needs to see a video before we can begin the replacement of the lamp. This is most aggravating ; Quality Control should occur BEFORE flooding customers with crappy products that just die within a few months of ownership.

If you want a lamp that will turn heads, get this. The light pole comes dissembled but is easy to set up. I have several other Govee products and this one does not disappoint. The silicone layer used to diffuse the LEDs does a good job at making the colors have smooth transactions and since the light has several sections, you can see fun color effects. The whites are also a lot nicer and true to color. I like this lamp enough that I may end up buying a second one.

I love this lamp and it's actually really cool. The gradient option make this lamp very unique, so many color at the same time. Everyone in the household agrees. Make sure you know that its not bright enough for reading but bright enough for mood lighting.

This lamp is so cool. It looks just a high quality as it is. The customizations and presets are handy. I use one of the AM settings to wake up to beautifully soft light each morning and a nighttime setting while I'm watching TV before bed. The app is useful, the Google home integration is great, and the many accessories and other lamps make it an ecosystem to invest in.

After some research on lights for a media room I went with the Govee Lyra and it has been a lot of fun playing with all of the different modes (there's quite a bit). I picked this over a Phillips model and even though this was a lot cheaper the quality seems very good. I'm very pleased with my purchase!

This floor lamp really helps set the mood. It reflects any color into a corner of a room. I also responds, changing colors, to music or speech it pick up. Easy to assemble and operate. Ties in with Alexa app very well, allowing you to control it by voice or the remote supplied.

I bought 2 of these lamps to expand the effect of my Govee T2. They work fairly well. Movie watching is now a much better experience. Basically these floor lamps were easy to assemble and they look like the pictures in the description. My main disappointment is the lack of clear instructions. One has to spend hours on line trying to learn how to set things up online with YouTube videos. The Govee App is too busy and they tried to squeeze too much in it, from sales to reviews and examples. I wish there was ONE button to turn my movie watching on (all devices) and off. That's it. Furthermore, I followed the setup steps and still I see colors that are not there and some of the colors that should be there are not.

in the corner of my room i had a lamp,but it broke causing a large dark area. saw the add for govee. i look at both versions and decided on the bigger version. and now the darkness has light LOTS O LIGHT, and in multicolor. the dimmer cool white makes it easy to see and read
