After some research on lights for a media room I went with the Govee Lyra and it has been a lot of fun playing with all of the different modes (there's quite a bit). I picked this over a Phillips model and even though this was a lot cheaper the quality seems very good. I'm very pleased with my purchase!

I initially purchased a floor lamp a while ago and loved the ability to change the color, intensity, and 'scenes' from my phone. I ended up moving to a new place and need more light in my living room, so I purchased a second one! I love the ability to control it from my phone and to create vibrant scenes with the multiple LED functions. The only draw back is that it does not produce as many lumens as other traditional floor lamps. Of note, the company is extremely responsive to any questions and concerns that you may have. For instance, I had a lamp that no longer worked and they helped replace it for me for no additional cost.

I'm really liking the Lyra lamp. It was easy to assemble, sturdy yet fairly light. There's so many different & unique lighting options. Everything seems to be working well. It's nice being able to sync & group the lamp with my overhead led bulbs which have many lighting options as well. I'd definitely recommend these to anyone looking for quality ambient or smart LED lighting

Bright and fun to customize. Seemed solidly built until I went to plug the two plugs together. The round end of the wire that comes from the base that the other wire connects to was squashed into an oval. I had to kind of reshape it back into a circle with plyers in order to get the other plug into it so I could plug it into the wall. It would be nice if there was a little more space in the base to tuck the led wires into. Pretty nice once I got it working though.

Great lighting, and the gradient feature is neat. Using the app and the two lamps and some LED configurations it's a little tricky since the floor lamps are much brighter than the LEDs takes a little bit of tweaking to get it working. It would be really helpful. If there was a prebuilt setting that covers this.

The perfect smart lamp for any room to add some lighting and flare to. Super easy to set up with the goveee and adding it your smart assistant. The remote is great for adjusting the brightness and color to exactly where you want it to be. Can not recommend this lamp more.

The Lyra is nicely constructed, the colors are very configurable with the app, and it looks good. My living room has a dark corner and this lamp worked perfectly filling it in. With the gradient feature turned on, the colors flow together well giving a very comfortable and pleasant light.

Rec'd two devices: My first lamp worked fine for about 1 week and stopped working on. Tried troubleshooting and still not working. The company sent me a replacement and this device 1st day out the box would just flash red and I could not control the device with the remote. I would say at this time the device is NOT the best lamp to purchase and highly suggest to look the other way. Maybe the 2.0 will work better when it's released.

I had researched these types of lights and I purchased 2 Govee Lyra lamps within 3 months. The second lamp worked for a few days before it just stopped working, I contacted support and while they were polite and responsive, they were also annoying. They didn't read the comments in my request and repeatedly kept suggesting the same troubleshooting steps and asked for a video demonstrating a totally non-functioning lamp. I eventually got the lamp replaced and now the second lamp stopped working. Here we go again. I'd performed all of the troubleshooting steps and now they are insisting on a video showing the lamp not turning on. This is one of the dumbest and most infuriating support experiences I've ever encountered. I will just trash this garbage product and not bother to pursue the replacement; I suspect the replacement product will be of poor quality as well. Their support rep states that their QC needs to see a video before we can begin the replacement of the lamp. This is most aggravating ; Quality Control should occur BEFORE flooding customers with crappy products that just die within a few months of ownership.

If you want a lamp that will turn heads, get this. The light pole comes dissembled but is easy to set up. I have several other Govee products and this one does not disappoint. The silicone layer used to diffuse the LEDs does a good job at making the colors have smooth transactions and since the light has several sections, you can see fun color effects. The whites are also a lot nicer and true to color. I like this lamp enough that I may end up buying a second one.
