This is a great laptop for the price. Its got a nice panel that is high res and bright. It does every day tasks very well. I love the full size keyboard with numeric keypad. this is a great student laptop.

With such a low price, I didn’t expect much from this Gateway laptop. But it’s exceeded my expectations.

I bought the Gateway 15.6" laptop from Sam’s Club a few weeks ago, and honestly, it’s been a pleasant surprise for the price. The first thing I noticed was how slim and light it is — it doesn’t feel bulky at all and is easy to carry around. The screen is really nice for a budget machine; the Full HD IPS display makes videos look sharp and clear, and I don’t have to sit right in front of it to get good colors. Performance has been solid for everyday stuff like browsing, streaming, Zoom calls, and working in Word or Excel. It boots up quickly thanks to the SSD, which is a huge plus compared to older laptops I’ve owned. I also like that it comes with a one-year Microsoft 365 subscription — that saved me some money and was ready to go right out of the box. Overall, I think this laptop is a really good value if you just need something for school, work documents, or casual use. The included 2-year warranty gives me peace of mind, and for the price, it’s hard to beat.

My wife and I bought this just to surf the net, do email, etc., and travel with. The build is such that the memory cannot be expanded (this is why the price is so low), but that is not an issue for us because we always use a portable hard drive with our laptops. It is a little slower than our “big” work laptops, however that's to be expected given the specs. The actual build is great though - graphics and audio I decent, the keyboard is solid, and it has all the USB ports, etc. that we need. An added plus is that a one year subscription to Microsoft Office is included. Highly recommend as long as the memory constraints align with your needs.

I got this computer for my 80 year old mother who is learning how to type and use a computer. This was perfect for her and a really good price. She loves it!

This Gateway laptop is great for school work, including college level courses, runs fast and is stable in its performance. It features a large screen, and vibrant display. Boots fast also. Runs very smoothly, playing videos, browsing the web and handling multiple tasks at the same time with no issues. Windows 11 in S mode is great for added safety. I recommend Gateway and this laptop in particular.

Does the job great machine

New out of box: The touchscreen Did NOT work. The Fn Keys Did NOT work. I working with Gateway for days :-( I worked with them on the phone and Emailing them back and forth, back and forth. Then Gateway wanted me to package the laptop up and return it to them for repair and then they would return it to me. How dumb is that? Think goodness for Walmart. I returned it to Walmart and purchased a different brand.
