I love my lights!!

I purchased a 200 foot pro for quite a bit of money did not keep the receipt. The controller broke and Govee will not sell me another controller. Don't know what to do about that. Never heard such a thing.

We absolutely love these lights. They transformed the look of our home. The installation was straightforward, the quality feels solid, and the app is incredibly easy to use. The brightness and color options are impressive — whether we're using them for holidays, game days, or subtle everyday accent lighting, they look great every time. Being able to customize schedules, scenes, and colors from the app makes them incredibly convenient. Once they're up, they're out of sight during the day and look clean and professional on the house. At night, they really stand out. We've already had multiple neighbors ask about them. Highly recommend if you want a permanent lighting solution that looks great year-round.

The mounting tape on the lights is too weak, so the clips are a requirement. Since the tape is so weak, the lights don't stay connected to the surface they're applied to and then hang at an angle, which makes the lights project inconsistently. Really disappointed.

Put these up in time for Halloween and were so excited! Looked great. Disappointed that there isn't a "breathe" feature for the DIY settings because I see that on homes in the area. They obviously bought other brands. Had them on the entire month of October, and December with some accent white lights on the peaks for the other months. Today, February 8, half the strands are out. Can't figure out why. Really disappointed because it's not an easy fix to remove and replace strands as we needed to rent really tall ladders and the lights AREN'T CHEAP! I didn't think "permanent" meant they would last forever, but not even 4 months?!

Wanted to love these, I had some in my old home for over 3 years and they were only on with tape, to take them out the first one almost took the wall with it, so the new owners got permenanent lights for free... these new ones, less than 2 days later, they are coming off, some the tape came out of the wall some the tape came out of the light... the brackets are useless!!! they do not really hold the light tight so the tape fails, the light falls and no longer aligned. I really wanted to love these, but they are a PIA. No wonder all the other closes have build in screw mounts, they knew... now I am stuck with 3 sets of 100 lights it will take me another few hundred $$ to get good 3rd party brackets... if only they did not go cheap, so many adhesive tapes that are great, they used the cheapest possible!

Just bought my permanent outdoor lights pro and installation is pretty much straight forward. Splicing wires is pretty easy as well. The kit comes with alot of pieces to help meet your needs. I used a heat gun to warm up the glue tape and soffit at the same time. Lights look amazing no problems 😊. I have other govee lights that accent everything nicely! Very happy with there products.

I just installed the Black 200 Pro lights today on my barn and they look incredible. I had to purchase some 3D printed mounting brackets because I was mounting into the siding on my barn. I'm glad I did and they only added to the finished look keeping everything straight and looking professionally done !

Had them professionally installed as you should unless you are an electrician. I could have installed them but my family needs me to not be falling off ladders at my age. So I let a professional do it and use a lift to get to the roofline on our house. Could not be happier with the results.
