The Govee Permanent Outdoor Lights Pro are great, and the installation was pretty straightforward. However, I wish there were an option to select the plug orientation, similar to some of Govee's other lights. I installed approximately 225 feet, using the same power source for both runs, which go in opposite directions. Unfortunately, from what I can tell, there doesn’t seem to be a way to sync the two runs.

These have totally grown on me. Love them! Took far less time than I thought to install. Ran line through soffit into attic and down into garage. Lights look amazing on both wood siding and brick. App exceeded my expectations in customization. I got every neighbor complimenting them... even the 2 who paid a professional Christmas light company thousands to install dull, dim lights around their gutters.

We are elderly and can no longer do the lights on the house like we use to. It is great to have permanent lights all year round and not have to be left out. They look great and are so easy to work. There are so many options on the lights and colors you want.

I purchased the 200' Govee permanent outdoor lights Pro and installed them on my house in a full day including the splices for the different sized gables ect.. The self-adhesive for the individual lights have held up great so far and made installation pretty easy. I installed them the week before Christmas. I cleaned the area with rubbing alcohol and dried with a towel, I then used a heat gun to warm up the soffit prior to attaching. I did utilize all of the cable holders with self piercing screws to help hold everything up. This is in an Idaho winter with snow, rain and freezing temperatures, so far so good. I have seen individual brackets for each light on amazon/ebay that I may install if there is an issue. My wife and kids absolutely love all of the different settings and modes that there is to try. I have had several comments from neighbors on how good they look and what brand they are. I like how you can adjust the brightness of the lights and individually select each light to turn on/off.

With a little bit of planning ahead of time, the installation is a breeze and the results are fantastic. Good looking lights, what feels like an infinite number of color/pattern options, and easy integration with other Govee lights and the Google Home app. Looking to add more to the house!

I have purchased 2 of 100ft black permanent lights II. I've had nothing but compliments on them. My neighbor liked them so much he bought some and paid me to install them. Wife is looking forward to lighting up every Holiday! The only downside to these lights versus the commercial grade Christmas lights I professionally install is you "Y" off at any point in the libe to add a dormer, and you can't "Y" off of the lights at any point or even at the connection points between sections. If you're using a pattern on the Govee lights then a "Y" would basically split the sequence at that point, which to me... would be fine. So, if they would offer a "Y" I'm sure that would be a helpful selling point.

Overall 1 month of use and love them, technically help was slow due to only doing it by email, and have to have great detail in getting support accomplish. But they fixed it. Time will tell if the thin 3m tape is good enough, I added the extra clips, but it should have more because i dont want to go on my tall roof again.

They look great. Installed them 3" from the wall for a sculpted look on the facia. Only thing to note is the sticky tape should not be considered a permanent solution even if they say it is :-) Mine came with screw in brackets in addition so I installed them permanently. No need for the Pro model unless you need to cut and splice the light strings. I didn't so went with the cheaper Outdoor '2' version. This came with multiple extensions to use between strings if needed. Nice lights. I hope they last a long long time.

lights work good but wish they had a longer cord from the last light to the outlet plug or extender like the permanent lights 2 come with. would be nice if it was listed that even though the connectors are the same they are not compatible with different models, but not the end of the world

I waited far too long to buy the Govee permanent outdoor light. But it’s done! I bought them. They are fantastic. Got em installed just before Halloween and the options available were perfect. Blinking dark red and scaring the kiddos as they were walking up, it was hilarious and magical. Had the red white and blue colors going for Election Day and am looking forward to Christmas and the options available for that. Overall a wonderful purchase. Talked my parents into getting it for their house so they never have to change out Christmas lights ever again.
