The Govee Permanent Outdoor Lights Pro are great, and the installation was pretty straightforward. However, I wish there were an option to select the plug orientation, similar to some of Govee's other lights. I installed approximately 225 feet, using the same power source for both runs, which go in opposite directions. Unfortunately, from what I can tell, there doesn’t seem to be a way to sync the two runs.

Love these lights. I’ve been wanting them since last Christmas. I was fortunate to to pull the trigger on two 100ft boxes Wild Robot edition. I used about 150ft of it which was more than enough to cover the front of the house with 3 peaks, one straight away over my porch and one long straight away on the side of the house. I’m a corner house so I didn’t worry about the other side facing the neighbors. I hired a handyman who specializes in putting up Govee lights and did an excellent job. He installed an outlet in my attic and all wiring is flawlessly installed and hidden. I gave the lights a 4out of 5 only due to the 3M was not sticking. Luckily mines came with the light brackets. I’m guessing if there’s moisture or coldness in the air they are not going to stick well. I told my handy guy not to peel anymore after the 5 he already did and just use the brackets to support them. So far so good. The lights are coolest thing ever. Putting up lights and taking them down is played out. These lights are the future. Nothing but compliments. My neighbor says he’s jealous 😂 I’m outside every night playing with my lights. I just recently painted my house in October and I knew I had to get them for this Christmas. Thanks Govee for bringing Christmas joy to my residence. Now I can’t wait for Valentines, St Patty’s, 4th of July, Halloween etc.

It’s what our home needed. They go up like a piece of cake. Just remember the cables and power units and what not need to be out of the elements. It is a really cool application for your home and it’s so customizable. I really really like them. If you can spend the money I’d say it’s a phenomenal investment. No more hanging Christmas lights on my gutters!

Purchased the Pro version since I knew I’d need to splice the lights at 2 locations. Everything went well with the setup. Activated the App and everything works perfectly. What I don’t understand is why the power supply is only rated for indoor use or a dry location. I had to mount a waterproof electrical box on the wall to enclose the power pack and the switch.

If it didn’t take us 7 hours to install these I’d have returned. While the lights themselves are beautiful, the app is awful, with support being equally awful. Can’t use Alexa to prompt on because the lights will glitch and turn on a bright green color. VERY finicky and not user friendly. But hey, when I have to manually babysit them they look great.

Super easy to install, just need a rag and a ladder. Wipe the surface, peel the tape, pull taught, stick in place. I used a piece of foam to keep my distance off the wall. The black color blends in pretty well with my brown soffit. I drilled a hole in my wall up by the soffit near the stairwell in my garage to run power through to the first strand. I was able to connect the brain to Wi-Fi, so I can access my lights in the app from anywhere, not just the Bluetooth distance. I created 4 or 5 scenes I use for the teams my family are fans for, as well as a "security lighting" scene with an LED on every 6-8 feet, depending on the run and where it's even. I even set up scheduling so every night at 7:30pm they come and every morning at 7am they turn off. My two issues: 1. I wish they'd figure out to make a run longer than 200'. I'm for sure one string shy of completing 3 sides of my house, but 2 more would be awesome. The other issue I had was: Regarding install. My directions (H706C Pros Black 200') said after the 5th string of lights to connect the driver module, then connect the rest of the strings. When I did that, the strings after the driver module didn't work. And after contacting support, who were less than helpful, I used one of the 4' extensions to replace the driver module and all of my strings worked. Every single LED was full, bright, no flicker or issues. So I'm not sure why directions would say I need it if I didn't, but just a heads up if you're one who bought a Pro 200' kit and it's not working with the driver module installed, try to go around it.

I installed these lights just after Thanksgiving and, so far, they've been working great! Once I figured out how to navigate through the app, I've been like a "kid in a candy store"! I love how you can customize the colors and scenes, and along with three sets of the Govee Outdoor Flood Lights 2 that I installed, it was a game-changer for our outdoor Christmas display this year. I'm looking forward to using these, all year long, for different events and occasions, and even for subtle everyday lighting of our home throughout the year!

I had high hopes. Installing is not incredibly difficult but set aside ample hours and lots of ladder work. Plan carefully as the electric power connection must be at the beginning of the lighting run and can not be spliced so make sure to have power available at the end of the run. My lights connected relatively easy to the app it takes 2 attempts the app itself is fairly easy to navigate all this leads me to the most important part and that is the lights function. Changing colors is straight forward and in my case incredibly disappointing. The colors are no where close to accurate The lights were installed for Halloween and wanted to use the orange and purple combination and the purple color was so washed out and pale that it nearly made me want to not use them this can be said for all the colors not vivid and very pale saturation. Bummed

I’ve had these up for a week now and they are amazing!! I love setting up different scenes and even using them as accent lighting and choosing which ones I want to stay on/off. The brightness and colors are just like advertised. I have a new construction home and our neighborhood is dark because there isn’t any street lights. These have lit up the street! Timers are helpful and installation was very easy! I should have purchased these sooner. Can’t wait for Christmas!

Love these lights! Took my husband a weekend to install but was well worth the time. We used two-sided tape to help secure and then screwed them in. We have 2 sets with the max length you can have. We have a small portion with no lights but it’s literally the length of an area that doesn’t have a light and is where you can’t see so it’s not a big deal. I set them on timers within app and hooked up to my Alexa as well! We love them and no more hanging lights every year!!!
