Testing the lights prior to installation showed the individual light strings worked as they should. Testing for adequate Wifi signal based on location of the equipment also proved satisfactory. As for installation of the light strings, the small screws supplied were very difficult to use. I had to make a trip to the hardware store to purchase screws easier to work with (screws requiring the use of at least a number 2 size phillips screw driver). I recommend that Govee include larger screws moving forward. As for the lights, they look very nice at night. I relied on our daughter to help us program the lights to our liking. I am quite satisfied with the light set and recommend it to people who want to install lights that don’t need to be uninstalled and can be used to highlight other seasons and celebrations through the years. Super easy to install, just need a rag and a ladder. Wipe the surface, peel the tape, pull taught, stick in place. I used a piece of foam to keep my distance off the wall. The black color blends in pretty well with my brown soffit. I drilled a hole in my wall up by the soffit near the stairwell in my garage to run power through to the first strand. I was able to connect the brain to Wi-Fi, so I can access my lights in the app from anywhere, not just the Bluetooth distance. I created 4 or 5 scenes I use for the teams my family are fans for, as well as a "security lighting" scene with an LED on every 6-8 feet, depending on the run and where it's even. I even set up scheduling so every night at 7:30pm they come and every morning at 7am they turn off. My two issues: 1. I wish they'd figure out to make a run longer than 200'. I'm for sure one string shy of completing 3 sides of my house, but 2 more would be awesome. The other issue I had was: Regarding install. My directions (H706C Pros Black 200') said after the 5th string of lights to connect the driver module, then connect the rest of the strings. When I did that, the strings after the driver module didn't work. And after contacting support, who were less than helpful, I used one of the 4' extensions to replace the driver module and all of my strings worked. Every single LED was full, bright, no flicker or issues. So I'm not sure why directions would say I need it if I didn't, but just a heads up if you're one who bought a Pro 200' kit and it's not working with the driver module installed, try to go around it.

I do wish you had distance from home to show light output. I would have gone 5 inches away instead of 3 1/2 but they are a great product...The App needs some major updating allowing more custom options like download someone else pattern then you cqan mod it.

Most incredible lights I’ve ever had the pleasure of seeing. Easy to install, very bright. Love that I can control them with my phone. I love the feature that allows me to see other peoples light shows and with the push of a button I can have the same setup. Best money I’ve ever spent on lights

I am loving the permanent outdoor lights, especially from Govee! Plus, the wife loves them so that’s always a good thing, haha. At first, I was hesitant because of the price and not knowing too much about the product, but it has superseded all my expectations. They were very easy to install and very easy to setup on the app. I would recommend these lights and anything Govee as a whole to anyone and everyone. Well worth it!

Lights are incredible. Have had them up for about 3 weeks. I used the clips at every light and put the two screws in every clip during install because it was below 50 degrees outside and adhesive doesn’t work below 50. Took a while to do it but I think using the clips and screws is the best long term thing to do anyways. Aside from the time it took to do that…. Worth every penny we spent on them. App works great and is very user friendly.

Wonderful lights, easy to install, and great app. My only complaint is that even after cleaning the surface, about 25% of my lights fell off after a week so I had so buy screw in brackets for each light. Now I have full confidence but had hoped for more permanent mounting for permanent lights.

We purchased the 100 ft set, then realized we needed another 50 to make it work for our house. Very easy set up when you follow the instructions. They worked fine without any issues. We absolutely love them. We did a couple of DIY designs, but chose a template to use instead. We love how we can easily change the light patterns with our phone. Best purchase and knowing that we no longer have to re-hang lights every year!

Bought the 200' Pro set which came with everything I needed. Instructions were laid out nicely and installation went smoothly. It was a lot easier with 2 people involved and finished product looks amazing on my 2 story house. App is very easy to use also.

Very happy with our permanent outdoor lights. They’re easy to install. The app is user friendly and has a lot of features that allow you to customize your lights for any occasion. I ordered 2 more 16’ add ons. I’m hoping Govee will have a single 3 prong plug that splits into 2 plugs which would make things easier.
