We purchased our first Bentgo Kids for our daughter starting with a half day pre-K program and she continues to use it 4 years later in First Grade. It’s super cute, easy to pack, and flexible. We’ve added to our set up with the Bentgo Buddies ice packs and backpacks further securing the excitement to bring lunch to school. 🙂

We own several Bentgo Kids boxes, and use one every day for our 4.5 yo daughter’s school lunch. Having all the small compartments means we can pack a diverse assortment of food, and keep them all separate, which our little loves. A clip broke after about a year of (almost) daily use, and the Bentgo customer service folks were great to work with and will be sending a replacement.

My kids love their boxes! They can be picky but are more willing to eat a variety of food because everything ks so cute and in manageable portions. One box changed shape after dishwashing, and customer service was great! They will be sending a replacement.

We own two of these, one for my daughter and one for my son. They love all the compartments and its the perfect size for them. The lunchboxes seal great, no spilling. I have even put yogurt in them before. The closing latch on my daughters lunch box did break, but I emailed the company and right away they took care of it. I would recommend these.

Cons: The inner plastic partition can be put on top rack of dishwasher, but I'd recommend only hand washing the outer shell because the silicone will warp. Even with the warping, the box opens and closes easily. Pros: Love the larger portion sizes as compared to other lunch boxes. Love the designs, and the matching back pack is very roomy and has a compartment for the lunch box. Excellent customer service. Will be repurchasing again, with the knowledge of proper cleaning.

I bought one for each of my kids and they both love it! One takes it to the babysitter and the other to school. The Bengto lunchbox fits perfectly inside with room to spare for other snacks. I also like that there are two different ways to hold the bag depending on what you put in it! Highly recommend.

The handle started breaking almost immediately. The image below is after about 15 days of use. A much bigger issue for me is the size of this lunch bag. It’s huge. It will fit the Bentgo kids lunch box plus the Bentgo kids water bottle inside it, not even counting the external bottle holder. It would be great for picnics, but it’s unwieldy for a little kid to tote to school. The clip is also way too stiff for a little kid to unclasp. My kiddo’s school puts the lunch bags on a cart to haul to the cafeteria, so the 2-in-1 backpack wouldn’t work. I got the regular Bentgo backpack, and this lunch bag will fit inside it but it takes up the entire bag. I’d love if it were about 2/3 the size.

We have several Bentgo boxes and this unicorn print box is my daughter's favorite. One of the clasps broke after a couple months of use, but Bentgo's customer service was very kind and quick to offer a replacement. The Bentgo Kids boxes are wonderful- sturdy, keep food cold if put into a larger lunchbox with an ice pack, easy for small hands to open, easy to clean, and have nicely sized compartments. My only note is that while the recommended age for this box is 3-7, I don't think it will be big enough for my daughter after about kindergarten. But, adding an extra snack outside of the Bentgo Kids won't be a problem, so we'll continue to use it. Not only do my kids love their Bentgos, I have received compliments from their teachers about providing well-balanced lunches with great variety. Bentgo makes that so easy!

My daughter received the lunch bag as a birthday gift and she absolutely adored the pattern and the color. The bag was big enough for a lunch box plus a small juice box, and it also had a side pocket for water bottle. My daughter loved it so much we also got matching ice packs few weeks later. After using it for less than 6 months, one of the seams on the handle started to fray. I contacted Bentgo customer service and the rep was really nice and responsive. The rep replied within 48 hours after I sent the email, honored the warranty without a hassle, and agreed to send a new lunch bag. I had a great experience with the products and Bentgo customer service. I would highly recommend it!

I got two of these for Christmas gifts and we love them. My boys are 6 and 7 and they are a great size and easy to use. I got the dark blue shark and the green Dino skeletons. My only complaint is that the lighter rubber parts of the Dino box easily gets discolored by any red sauce, mustard, etc. And I cannot get it to come off so it always looks dirty and we've only been using it for 4 weeks. The shark one has a little bit of discoloring on the inside but not as noticeable.
