Their “Original” BBQ sauce/marinade is truly delicious and very versatile. It has a Soy / Teriyaki heavy forward flavor profile with a bit of your traditional vinegar/tomato based BBQ sauce. Heat level of the original is very light. First fell in love with it on BBQ ribs, but we now use it on everything from salmon and chicken to veggies.

Really really good! My kids love it with their dumplings. It does taste like dumpling sauce. But we added it to pot roast and it was great. We love it.

So this is not your typical BBQ sauce, i use this for my dumplings, had some on salmon, and with my spring rolls and im.sure i will try it with more. Its a cross between a soy sauce and BBQ. Really good and probably wouldn't have bought it if it wasn't a sample and I tried it.

I LOVE this sauce! It's got lots of ginger and garlic in it, and every time I make rice and vegetables to go with any meat I am cooking, this is my go to sauce to pour all over the meat, rice and veggies. Totally hooked on this stuff!

I usually don't like pre-made sauces, but this one is suprisingly good. Decided to try this sauce on hibachi style chicken. The sauce started with a thin consistency, but thickened up nicely over heat. It's so rare to find a dish that the whole family likes, but this dish was a hit. Can't wait to try it in other recipes.

This is not a true BBQ sauce it’s a wonderful sauce for fried rice, steak or chicken, zucchini and onions!! It’s like what is used at a Japanese restaurant!! I have already recommended it and will continue to do so!! Please Walmart keep this item in stock!!!!!!!!!!!

Bachan's The Original Japanese BBQ Sauce, Great Umami flavor and taste (I stay with the Original BBQ Flavor other Bold, Fresh, Umami Flavors I do not Recomend but this is only my oppinion

This wasn’t for me. If you like the taste of a soy dominating your bbq sauce, this is for you. It’s not disgusting, it’s just not for me

I was really hoping this sauce would be good so I could use it for many foods. Unfortunately, the sauce was not good. I tried it on a couple of foods but couldn't get past this product.
