This is the toughest beef jerky I have ever eaten. For the price, you would think they would try to at least make it tender enough that you could bite through it.

I have not eaten any beef jerky in a number of yearsand was feeling a strong urge to indulge myself when I saw a large display of Jack Links Original Beef Jerky when I was shopping in Sam' Club. I would be driving a long distance for Christmas, so I bought some for snacking in the car while driving. I was blown away with the improvement of the product. It was delicious and barely lasted the full length of the trip. It was tender and fantastically good. I was very surprised and pleased. Thank you.

Always good for a quick protein snack. Hubby LOVES them. He eats them in between meals @ home, @ work & on our trips (A MUST). Wondered what all the fuss was about so I tried them, kids tried them & grandkids tried. Now, we're ALL hooked. Always have them on hand.

I love these original Jack Links. Enough so that when they go on sale I try to buy extra to store in my pantry. BUT - little had I realized that only the first FOUR that I purchased (even on different dates) actually got priced at the on sale price. I subsequently learned that the tiniest of print on the shelf price tag said "limit 4 per membership" - readable only with a magnifying glass. Over a few of weeks I purchased 7 of the 16oz bags. And I was not a happy camper when I reviewed the bills only to see that I paid $3 over the sale price for the last 3 purchases. If you're going to limit the quantity at least have the courtesy to MAKE IT ABUNDANTLY CLEAR that there is a limit AND that the limit combines multiple store visits.

I was pleasantly surprised to find that this jerky was not tough; it still retained some moisture so it was easily to chew. I bought these because I felt I was lacking protein, and I suppose it filled its purpose, but I am still not a big lover of jerky.

My brother insisted I buy some so I did. I hate to say he was right but his insistence turned out to be VERY right! This jerky is GOOD and tasty plus easy to actually chew (I think of jerky as tough and hard to chew). It's a bit pricey for a pound which doesn't last very long (at least at my house).

I bought this hoping that it would be YUMMY Jerky and it IS! It isn't spicy just nice and good. There are very chewy pieces and softer pieces. In fact, I also bought the Jack Links Tender Original and found out THIS kind is much more tender and tastes better. I have purchased a total of 3 bags of this now. I would recommend this.

Very flavorful and easy to chew

Good, but price increases may have me moving on from this product.
