Your browser does not support HTML5 video. ?Govee backlighting is a must for movie night.colors are almost spot on light, light movement is amazing. The downside to it is if they have to much colors it tends to match the brightest. Can't wait for the next gen to come out... definitely upgrading!

Despite the less than ideal setup (my TV does not have a flat back), I am pretty amazed by how much dynamic visual appeal the T2 backlight added. After calibration, the responsiveness was very good. Color accuracy was an issue, particularly for the bottom edge; however I am not surprised as that is a pretty shallow angle for the camera to pick up that edge. It would also be nice if Govee would include more of the clips for those people not wanting to use the adhesive backing. All in all, very satisfied.

I've done everything perfectly correctly but the color match is Terribble, Generates wrong colors at wrong time does do much of anything it said it was gonna just absolutely terriblely disappointed with my purchase as of right now will change my review if the issue is ever resolved but not worth the money at all as of right now

I got these after getting the permanent house lights. Super easy to install.Took a little tweaking with the color adjustment to make the colors match, but now it's near perfect. Only wish it had some way to positively turn on and off with the TV. It's got an option to turn off when the screen doesn't change for a few minutes, but it's still in beta testing and doesn't work consistently yet.

I absolutely love this and would recommend to everyone! It took me about 20 mins to get together.. Couldn't reach outlet, turn TV on my own, etc. But was super easy to install. Makes movies that much better. And the amount of settings in the app is pretty awesome too. Will be purchasing one for each tv. Make sure you know exactly where you want the camera once mine was stuck I had hell of a time moving it to adjust it.. I was able to move it but was worried I was going to rip the trim off top of the TV. But I know it isn't going to fall off so that's a plus.

I had a very early generation set of Govee TV lights (can't even remember the model number), but these T2s blitz them in every way! Ordered 2 sets, one for my 55" TV and one for my 75". They're brighter and FAR more accurate. It did take some fiddling around to get them right (i.e. had to recalibrate the cameras multiple times just because I slightly moved the camera, and set the White balance and Saturation all the way down). I've read a few lower rated reviews on here stating the colours don't match - fiddle with the White Balance and Saturation settings. Trust me, it works. The only thing that bothers me is that when my kitchen light is on, the whole side turns yellow, but only because the light reflects off the surface of the TV into the camera (Could see it when you calibrate the cameras). I have mine integrated with Home Assistant and turns on and off automatically with my TV between sunset and sunrise. Only thing I'd like on this would be local control instead of using the web API. Also... Maybe start shipping to Australia? Using a mail forwarding service is very expensive. :-/

Seems like I can never get the colors to match for long, camera is annoying, slight latency with the color’s reactions all takes away from the immersion but still adds more than not having it. Also leds flicker with blue lights. If I could go back in time I’d probably go with a different brand because of the setup (no camera), crushes the price of the hue, the lytmi alternative is worth looking in to. Will be keeping it on my TV until it or my TV needs replaced

Overall it's nice but could be better on the color reflections. Mainly dark pink and red for white humans. Should be showing more blues and greens as well as more golds within LEDs when picking up from the tv. It's still an amazing item and I am a govee fan for life and own many many items and will be getting many more!

ABSOLUTELY Enhances the Movie experience. Worth every penny, Govee puts my other backlight to shame. It took me maybe 10 to 12 attempts for recalibration on my TV and maybe 2 or 5 attempts at making sure the camera was perfectly aligned in the middle atop my t.v. Once you get it right its obvious. Back light colors will match perfectly with what colors are on the TV. Taking your time is very important, and don't be afraid to keep recalibrating until you get it right.

With all the home time, I came across this on instagram and thought it would be a nice extra. Now, I can't look at a TV without it. It makes watching TV much more enjoyable. TV looks naked at night without it lol. Plenty of brightness, sticks good so far, and was easy to setup. The color is sometimes a bit off and the response is a smidge slow, but only when you stare at it. It really does add to the experience of watching a good movie and TV overall. Just makes your TV feel much bigger.
