I noticed the lights at the top middle (where the camera is) doesn't match the top of the screen, more so the middle of the screen. Also, if the tv has scenes where it gets dark/nearly black, the tv lights will cast a dim white light, which is kind of a flaw if you're into horror movies since it will take you out of the emersion

the brightness of the led strip is really good. that's the only positive thing. i bought the 85 inch version and it was wayyy to short to cover the length and width of the tv. the lens does not cover the whole tv screen and is designed to cover only 75 inch tv. selling it for 85 inch is false advertising. the colours don't match with the screen at all and make the whole watching experience too bad.

Obviously got these for the video aspect but you can set to music, scene, prog your own colours and DIY as well. 3m tape more than adhesive enough for placement. Had an issue at first but govee quickly sorted it out. 5 star service.

Pretty good. Not quite as precise as I'd like in the "part" mode (multiple colors depending on what's in that area of the screen) so i just leave it on "whole" mode (one solid background color). It doesn't really pick up greens, yellows, or oranges either. Mostly blues, purples, reds, and pinks.

For what we used them for, they are great. I could see how someone who's more into gaming and movies would want something a bit more dynamic, though. The sticky bits are all not very sticky, and the lights will not stay attached to the TV, however. We've had to utilize clear tape as an alternative, and will more than likely redo them with some different double-sided tape once we're motivated to remove them and the existing 3m tape.

I bought this kit because it represents good value for money, and avoids potential problems with input latency and the HDMI 2.1 compatibility of the Phillips Hue reactive lighting sets. I also liked the fact that this gives you lights along the bottom of the screen, and features individually colored LEDs.My only issue was that the strip that is placed along the sides was a bit too long for my 55 inch Samsung Q80T, and I have to perform a few careful folds and tucks to keep it looking nice. I believe that it is possible to cut the LEDs shorter, but felt that would open a whole other can of worms, and the way that the strips are connected looked too solid to confidently modify them.After some tweaking of the color depth and brightness, I came to a good balance, where it looked great , was as close as possible to accurate and didn't overwhelm the image. I ran through a number of Hue/Ambient-lighting demos, and they were breathtaking. I also watched TV and gaming footage, and it was very good, but occasionally a little jarring when colors changed.The only problem I had was when I was trying all the music modes, there was that is third in the row of modes, causes two sides to flicker as if they are faulty. When I first installed the unit it was in this mode, so I thought I would have problems until I linked the App and changed it. However, everything else works fine, and this doesn't look like a mode I would use in any case.Lastly, the App is well structured and easy to use. I wish that it could support a few scene modes, where I could save my hue and brightness settings and restore them quickly, but in the absence of that I can simply learn my preferred values, or screenshot them.Overall this is a very impressive product. I am extremely happy with it. It delivers as close to my mental image of what Ambient lighting should be as any product that I have seen demonstrated. Its colors are rich and vibrant, and accurate enough for my eyes after tuning. I will definitely keep an eye on Govee's future development with interest, and feel that the good value of this product means that I don't feel fear of missing out on the next best thing in the immersion lighting space, as I would have had I bought the Phillips set.

I bought these about a month ago and I can never go back to watching movies or playing video games without backlighting again. Set up was easy, calibration was quick and painless. I will say that these lights work best in a dark room with little to no light coming from outside sources. Any lighting that reflects off the screen or can be picked up by the camera will affect the lighting. Still worth the purchase. Very high quality LED Strips too.

My issue was with my tv size. I have a 70inch tv. The lights are not made for the 70inch tv. I first purchased the smaller tv size, I wasn't quite happy with the corners of the tv via the lights were short on all four corners. I went ahead and returned the smaller kit and purchased the larger kit. Govee was very good about the refund on the smaller kit. The larger kit of course is to big for the 70inch tv but it looks much better. In the end I would suggest the larger kit for a 70inch tv. After all being said I do like the Govee setup, makes tv a little bit better over all.

I am very happy with my T2. However it does have some inconveniences. 1. A short USB-C to USB-C cable (for the camera). I prefer to place the block with buttons not on the back of the TV, but on the stand next to it. 2. I would also like to be able to move the highest point of the calibration zone when I calibrating the screen. 3. Ai and most extra functions based on wifi connection to the phone. It does have a blutooth, but without wifi everything gets useless. 4. You can not change the LED strip, if some of LEDs will be burned out. So after approximately 1,5-2 years of use, i will have to buy a completely new bundle, for the full price. Overall, there are nothing excellent in this world. So Im happy that it works. I like it.

All Of My LED Products have been with Govee and they continue to not disappoint. If you're looking to up your tv experience , then this is the way to go! They are a bit pricey in my opinion but well worth it to! They Fit great on my 55Inch tv, with a slight 1inch or so of extra length, but it doesn't affect the over all look or function to them. Would Recommend to anyone!!
