While it's not as accurate as a different I've used who's now out of business, it does a pretty good job. Mounting the camera at the bottom makes it almost unnoticeable. Also this is on a 75 inch tv and the colors are still vivid as if they were right at the edge.

Every other Govee light I have purchased has been a 5 plus! This one just doesn't seem to work the way the descriptions describe. I tried changing the settings and recalibrating etc. It's the same as adding a light strip to the back, every once in a while it hits the right color but for the most part i didn't enjoy. Maybe the video sync versions will be my next try.

I thought I was upgrading from the T1 which had very good color matching. This unit is horrible! Corners have no color due to short strips, colors do not match picture no matter what ai change settings to. Even a completely white screen (Movie: Silent Hill) shows blues, pink and purple hues.

Having a static light behind your TV is cool BUT when the lights flash and change colors matching the scene it becomes an experience. It is fun when there are explosions but is also adds to the scene when it is an interview or a scenic shot. Then my lights died. I thought, Oh well. But after a week I really missed them. I didn't realize how much better experience they made watching TV. I gave in and reached out to support expecting nothing but customer service was there. They asked me to do a few things. They responded to my email in less than 24 hours each time. It came to a conclusion the lights was toast. Instead of wishing me luck, they sent me a replacement. And not by snail mail either! If I could I would give their customer support 7 stars out of 5.

I had the original T1 as all Govee products it's a breeze to setup. No issues displaying colors or using the DreamView. However, with the T2 it's not been the case. Camera will not pickup colors correctly. I followed various times the video provided by Govee, went to YouTube to see that other people were having the same issues and what they did to resolve the issue. At the time of this review will be changing the camera from top view to buttom view to see if that finally resolves my issue.

I really like the end results after installation. Had to watch the beginning of Star Wars - Episode 4. The initial viewing was outstanding. The issue I had was the length of the LED stripping was a little short for my Samsung 65" TV...short by 2 to 3 inches, now one corner looks like there is a patch missing.

The lite version 3 suppose to work with tvs with thin screens, it never did. The colors worked well for only a week and then started running into the color problems, it never matched what's you see in the screen. Started to change colors very slow and couldn't keep up with what you see in the screen. End up regretting my purchase.

I didn't have high hopes for the price point but figured I'd try it out and compare against my hue sync. The system just isn't good and likes to pick up light from every source possible outside of the tv. The cameras do a terrible job recreating and syncing with the color on the screen and is too delayed to be useful. Calibration didn't help despite doing that 10 or so different times.

It was easy to set up. The light strips has good adhesion and is staying put. I mixed up clockwise and counterclockwise so I had to fix that but otherwise it was easy-peasy, easier than I thought it would be. All together it took about 10 minutes to install and it works great.

Is a great affordable option vs the more expensive Phillips offerings. Lost a star because I notice the light strip will get stuck on a color in some quadrants. Resetting the device cures it for a good amount of time. But had to reset a few times since install a week ago. Would be nice to have additional settings on how rapid colors change, easing, etc. but really cool light all in all.
