Easy home project

We were amazed on how these pieces came together. For a small room project, we got it completed in a day. Once we figured out how to install, all went well. We were able cut some of the pieces without the help with an electric saw. The color gives us country vibes. Overall we're happy.

What a great find and Great buy

This was a great find! The quality of the flooring is great. Super sturdy and looks like it will we long lasting. The instructions are easy to follow and the flooring snaps together easily. The only thing I would suggest is not having it shipped, many of the corners came dented so they had to be cut before use.

Good-Looking, Mid-price Waterproof Laminate

I recently installed the Longview Chestnut planks from QuickStep by Mohawk, and overall I’m impressed. The laminate gives a warm, authentic mid-brown chestnut tone that works nicely in both daylight and evening light — it isn’t shiny or plastic-looking, and the grain pattern has just enough variation to feel natural without being too busy. One of the biggest selling points is the waterproof claim. As someone with pets and occasional spills, I appreciated that this flooring handles moisture better than many ordinary laminates. While it’s not impervious to neglect (you still can’t leave standing water for long periods), it survived a few accidents without swelling or damage along the seams. Installation was fairly straightforward thanks to the click-together system. The 17.18 sq. ft. per box coverage was good for planning, and I didn’t end up needing massive overage. That said, I did find that getting a tight seam in some corners required patience and a rubber mallet. Also, underfoot it has a slightly hollow feel compared to engineered hardwood — so expect a bit more echo in large, empty rooms unless you use a good underlayment or rugs. In terms of durability, after several weeks of daily traffic (kids, pets, moving furniture) the surface holds up well: minor scuffs buff out, and the color hasn’t notably faded. Maintenance is easy — regular sweeping and damp mopping suffice.

Laminate that looks like wood!

This is a beautiful color and looks/feels just like wood. It was very easy to put together and snapped in place. The doorway kit is a flawless transition between two rooms. The padding underneath gives great support.

Great looking flooring

We got this flooring for a room that needed refinishing. The color is perfect and looks authentic. I really debated on wheter to get laminate or vinyl planking. The laminate seems sturdy and well finished. I'm excited to see its durability.

Very Durable

Flooring was easy to lay and connect as we were going through the project to put this down. Edges didn't chip when cutting pieces to size. Took a small piece that wasn't going to be used and tried scratching it with keys and other objects. Took quite a bit of effort to put a noticeable mark on it.

Nice wood looking laminate flooring

This flooring went together as expected. We redid our small laundry room to test first as this takes on a lot of traffic and it's the passage way through our back door. Our dogs are constantly in an out. The floor has a nice texture but not rough. The coloring and size of planks is perfect for us. Time will tell how well the flooring holds up. We like the fact that it's waterproof, has the padding already attached, and looks like a good wood floor.

Rustic Wood Floor

I have installed several click lock laminate flooring in several applications and of various types. I have mixed feelings regarding this product and it being classified as water proof versus water resistant. Being wood, any void in a joint could allow moisture to seep; this is just my opinion. This is just my preference in terms of areas I would use this product. The product is real wood and has a has a 10mm thickness of which 2mm is the pad. The joints appear to have some sort of sealant and they join tightly. If you don’t have a nylon block, you will have to sacrifice an end of a board to utilize a hammer bar to close the joints. There is some texture to boards which have knots as you will see in a picture. Again, my preference, as the bottom only has 2mm prior to the wood bottom, I would not use in a concrete floor application. Again, that is my personal preference; per the instruction, if you perform all the appropriate moisture tests and are within compliance, you are ok for installation. The flooring goes down pretty easy and makes a nice appearance with randomized boards. The boards have a nice feel to them and the pre installed pad provides for a good interface with your subfloor.

Seems decent enough

We’ve installed quite a bit of laminate flooring as well as LVP flooring and this is pretty much the same. You’ll definitely need a rubber mallet and we like to use a scrap piece of flooring to tap the pieces together. We are still installing this so I don’t have a completed picture, but Sam’s Club wants to review now. I’m not crazy about the color, but it’s being used in a Kids play area in the basement and it will be fine for that. I can’t talk about how waterproof it is yet, Ideally, we won’t have any major spills to even worry about it because even though the flooring says it is waterproof, I think water can get underneath (it’s a floating floor) and it would be difficult to get it to dry. I’ve since seen this in the store and I think the price is fine for what you’re getting and it has a pretty good guarantee so overall not a bad product.
