They last a good amount of time (varies depending on the time of year, pollen, dust, etc.), and come in a range of sizes to make sure they’re right for each HVAC unit. As we rent, we were really appreciative that these are simple to change out and that the arrows show the correct way to install. Glad to have received this in exchange for my review.

The Filtrete 700 is designed to help reduce dust and pollen, which makes the air at home feel fresher and cleaner. The size 16x25x1 fits perfectly and was super easy to install. After replacing my old filte, I noticed the air felt lighter, the house stayed less dusty, and overall it's been much more comfortable. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Received the filter right away you can tell by the weight that it’s not built as some other ones doesn’t mean it’s not good, but filter particle seems thin and you can see light through it easily, so guessing it’s gonna have to get changed pretty soon, compared to others that are thicker, install is easy but everyone’s ac is different, not bad for the value but would prefer one I have to change less frequent, 3m makes quality products I guess this one is just bottom of the barrel

I have a few pets inside my home and this filter helps me with all that pet dander. And I live in the south so we have a lot of pollen as well. So if you need your air to be a little cleanercthen you definitely need to get you a filtrete filter.

I have pets and mild allergies, and this filter seems to make a noticeable difference. The air feels cleaner, and I’ve noticed less sneezing and congestion, especially during allergy season. Installation was super easy it fit right into my HVAC system with no issues. I also appreciate that it doesn't restrict airflow too much, which can be a problem with some filters.
