If you need very high removal of ultra-fine particles (smoke, viruses, wildfire smoke) you may want to consider a higher MERV rated filter. specified size “20 × 25 × 1” — the product is available in that nominal size (see listing: 20 in × 25 in × 1 in) for MPR 700.  • Ensure your HVAC/furnace system supports a pleated 1-inch filter with this thickness and with the airflow restrictions typical for pleated filters. Some older or high-efficiency systems may be more sensitive.
