If you need very high removal of ultra-fine particles (smoke, viruses, wildfire smoke) you may want to consider a higher MERV rated filter. specified size “20 × 25 × 1” — the product is available in that nominal size (see listing: 20 in × 25 in × 1 in) for MPR 700.  • Ensure your HVAC/furnace system supports a pleated 1-inch filter with this thickness and with the airflow restrictions typical for pleated filters. Some older or high-efficiency systems may be more sensitive.

My home feels fresher and cleaner, especially since we have a dog that sheds a lot. What I like the most is how easy it was to install — it fit perfectly into my HVAC system (mine’s a Honeywell). The airflow is still strong, but the air feels lighter, if that makes sense. I used to sneeze a lot in the morning, and that’s noticeably better after just a few days of use. This filter is rated MERV 11, which means it catches fine dust, pollen, and pet dander really well. It’s not the top of the line, but it’s perfect for everyday use if you want a good balance between air quality and price. They say it lasts up to 12 months, but I’ll probably change it every 6–9 months since we have pets. For the price and the performance, I think it’s totally worth it. If you’ve been dealing with allergies or pet hair floating around your house — this is definitely a solid upgrade!

With having 3 cats I like that this was created specifically for households with pets to control all the extra dust and dander from them.
