The Member's Mark taco seasoning isn't the same as the original Tomes Taco Seasoning. It's noticeably less spicy and has a much lighter color. Looking at the ingredients explains why: the original Tomes listed dried chili pepper and other spices as the first ingredients, while Member's Mark lists degerminated corn flour first, making it more of a filler than a spice blend. If you're looking for the bold, rich flavor of the original Tomes seasoning, this version is disappointing. Please bring back the original Tomes Taco Seasoning.

I have made my own taco seasonings for years. Given the amount and price point for the MM seasoning, I thought I would give it a try. All I can say is why did I wait so long! Both my wife and I thought it was best homemade tacos I have fixed in decades............you cannot go wrong with this blend.

seasonig flavor is good, but I had a use a lot more than it calls for on the bottle.

Needs more cumen mixed into it. I'm about to dump a small 3oz btl from another store into it.

I don't know what it is, but it isn't taco seasoning. There is zero flavor. Lawry's is my favorite but even the cheapest generic grocery store taco seasoning has more flavor than this....

This stuff has no flavor whatsoever. It's just SALTY! There is also no directions or suggestions on how much to use, which is just silly. I don't want to go back to buying packets at Meijer, but it is what it is. I don't want anything to do with whatever this seasoning is supposed to be.

We tried the Members Mark taco seasoning since the Tones we have always bought is no longer available. Just like when wmart tries to push GV instead of name brand, this is a fail. Bring back the name brand. We don't want the wmart/sams generic stuff. It doesn't even come close in taste. The name brands usually have less fillers and junk, also.

Overall, this is a great seasoning blend. It’s a nice big container and has a great flavor on par with any of the little taco seasoning packets I’ve tried. It’s really nice to have a large container with a shaker top to be able to add just a little sprinkle to foods (try some on Italian sausage with peppers and onions and thank me later), but also to be able to get a measuring spoon in there to measure out for making taco meat. Doesn’t seem to cake up too bad. My only complaint is that there is no suggested amount for how much to use, for instance, to make tacos with 1 pound of ground meat. Because of this it takes a little guessing, but I started with 2 Tbsp and then went from there. Product came packaged nicely with seal intact. Overall I would recommend this taco seasoning.

Member’s Mark Taco Seasoning is delicious and super convenient. It has the perfect balance of flavor—just the right amount of spice without being overpowering. It makes weeknight dinners quick and easy, and the large container is a great value for the price. My tacos taste just like restaurant quality every time. Highly recommend!
