Everything you would expect from a quality cinnamon stick. The scent is delightful, both sweet and spicy. The ones that I got are really thick, thicker than any other ones I’ve ever purchased. I’m hoping the thicker ones will lend even more cinnamon flavor to recipes! I love to use them in Horchata and holiday stove top potpourri. Good value for good sticks!

Great flavor! Our family has Latin heritage and makes Canela (Cinnamon Tea) often. This Member's Mark Saigon cinnamon was perfect in our most recent batch. The sticks are the right size, and this is a great container size to last us a while. The cinnamon itself has a nice robust flavor and the smell of it wafting through the house is delightful and makes it so cozy!!

These sticks are the perfect size to stir either hot cocoa or cider with. They carry that nice, warm cinnamon scent and flavor. I haven’t tried grounding them to make into a powder, but I have no doubt it would be more potent than the pre-ground stuff. I’m excited for all the fall dishes I garnish with these. Nothing says “autumn” like cinnamon.

I love that I can smell them instantly when I open them, but not from outside of the container. It makes me feel like it's packed to maintain freshness. I also like that they are half sticks because they are more manageable, and more "aesthetic" in recipes!

Member’s Mark Saigon Cinnamon Sticks for the win! They have a strong, cinnamon scent. They are packaged well for shipping as I only see two broken sticks. I plan to use these for holiday simmer pots & micro-planning for finishing off desserts & cocoa.

My first impression upon opening the packaging for these cinnamon sticks was how spicy and strong they are! They have a delicious scent that is hot and bright, very assertive in the best way. Cooking with them, I was happy to find that the scent was no illusion. I used them to make a potpourri on the stove, and the beautiful aroma of cinnamon floating through the house even drew my teenagers downtairs to discover what I was making. The sticks are made from quite thick bark, thicker than I am used to, but very sturdy for that. This seemed to me to lead to them opening up faster than other sticks I have used; I don't know if that is better for getting the cinnamon flavor out of the sticks or not. I am not sure I like them opening up so much; it is not very attractive in the dish; however that maybe is not very important for imparting flavor, so maybe I would just use these for cooking and anticipate removing them for any presentation. One thing I really am less fond of is how short they are. These are shorter and fatter sticks (with a thicker skin) than others I have used, so they fit in my dishes differently. On the other hand, I think they will fit nicely in certain aromatic sachets or table potpourri. And again, they have a great scent and strong spicy flavor, so they will be great for cooking applications.

These cinnamon sticks are fresh, fragrant, and full of flavor. Perfect for teas, mulled drinks, and cooking. They’re long-lasting, aromatic, and add a warm, authentic spice to recipes. I will definitely be ordering more.

First I’ll start off with these cinnamon sticks are nothing special. That being said they do in fact get the job done. The taste, smell, and feel of these cinnamon sticks are good. Nothing special just regular. I usually buy cinnamon sticks from Sam’s just not the members mark one. I do not really use cinnamon except when I make oatmeal and if you compare the two they both taste very similar. I personally cannot tell the difference between these cinnamon sticks and the ones I usually get. All in all it just comes down to price. If these were to go on sale and or be cheaper than the ones I usually get then I would happily buy these.

Not as stong in flavor or smell as other cinnamon stick I have used. Some of them iI could swear were just regular tree bark.
