[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I can't believe that you can get a 50" Phillips TV for such an affordable price now. Crazy how times have changed. This TV is actually quite amazing. I don't have cable anymore so I only use digital networks like Netflix, Hulu, and HBO Max. This TV is perfect for people like me. I also love the fact that the remote is so paired down and simple. I so much prefer little remotes with only a few options so that it is easy to navigate. Lastly I like that this TV works with Apple Airplay. I didn't see this explained anywhere when I purchased the TV so I was pleasantly surprised when it worked.

Bought a different “smart” tv first but it’s operation was glitchy within hours of setup and only got worse the next day. Took it back and bought this one and have not been sorry. The only thing that could be better is the way you have to scroll through the guide to change channels on broadcast tv. If yo are in the middle of the live tv menu you have to scroll forever to get to your local broadcast channels. Doesn’t have voice on supplied remote but you can do that with the phone app. Saying “channel 6.1 will not change the channel either you have to use the cumbersome scroll through the guide. That is the ONLY negative I have found. And the only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars.

Audio quality is so-so, but that's true of most Televisions these days. I haven't used the roku and wifi connections much yet either. I have only connected it to cable TV. Picture quality is nice and clear and crisp and very colorful! I would recommend this produce to anyone looking for an affordable smart TV!

TV has a slim design, legs are also slim, but too small. We loved the intuitive interface. It was simple to look up movies or favorite tv shows and immediately start streaming. The picture resolution is beautiful and had sharp contrasting color with quality sound. Made gaming very fun. There were so many things tv could perform with google assistant, Google Play store, Roku, YouTube, and Netfix too.

Setup was fairly simple and I did not have issues installing all of the apps I regularly use. Cons for me: 1) Sound isn't the best, but my husband and I learned we can hear better while watching our shows at night by connecting our Bluetooth earbuds through the Roku app. 2) Internet connection needs to be reconnected at least twice a week. The log-in information for the wifi is saved in the system, but for some reason, it disconnects and I need to go and reconnect. 3) Image is pixelated for movies and shows when the scene is dark.

Roku built makes it convenient to login to my existing streaming accounts. The color/sharpness is great. The sound quality is on point and the remote is very simple and easy to learn. Only minor downside is the TV isn’t super thin but don’t let this scare you off. I did not wall mount mine which helps hide the fact that it’s a little thick.

There is a roku app which can operate the tv and find answers to any questions about the tv. The picture is so clear and sharp and sound is great. It has smart App technology so all the apps I use come up on the screen. With Roku I can get a long of stations and movies. It is everything I need in a tv.

I put it in my master bedroom and decided to mount it to the wall and it looks absolutely beautiful. 50 inch is the perfect size for the best TV experience in your bedroom in my opinion. Anything bigger would be too much and is more for the living room but 50 inch is really a luxury. The quality of the TV is great this is my first time having a Roku TV and I don’t think I will ever go back! The remote is so easy to use and I love that there are so many apps already installed and all I have to do is log into my accounts to get the content that I want to see!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just set up my new Philips 50” Roku Smart 4K TV and am quite pleased. The LED HDTV with HDR came with a quick start guide which was easy to follow as it stepped through the Wi-Fi, streaming services and local TV channel set up. I really like the Roku features since I already have a Roku account, and once I signed in, I had access to most of my other streaming channels. The 4K HDR picture is crisp although it took some navigating to find the settings to access the advanced brightness and contrast adjustments. One great feature is the ability to insert a USB stick (not included) which allows me to pause local broadcast TV signals for up to 90 minutes and resume where I left off. The remote control is very similar to my other Roku devices, but the volume and mute buttons for the TV are on the side which took some getting used to. I would recommend this TV.
