The 4K ultra HD technology offers amazing picture quality that blows normal HD televisions out of the water. Another great feature is the HDR (high dynamic range) technology which delivers explosive color quality and contrast, perfect for my nature shows and movies. The 55" display was the perfect viewing size for my living room. The best function of this television is the simple and convenient home screen. It allowed me to easily switch between my cable box, gaming console and streaming apps. It has everything you could want from a smart TV. I would recommend this product to anyone in the market for a high quality smart television, especially those who want to connect consoles, television boxes and subscribe to multiple streaming services.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently replaced my family room TV, with this 50" Philip's Roku and the size is perfect. I had no issues getting it to connect to my wifi and setup only took a few minutes. The picture quality is great, it's very clear and the colors are bright. The sound quality is better than I expected and the volume doesn't have to be turned up very much. I really like the convenience of having all of my streaming apps in one place and that there are tons of free movies and shows included with Roku. I love how easy it is to search for movies! Just type it in and it pops up with all the services, the movie or show is available on. No more jumping from app to app, looking for a specific title. The remote is pretty small and I did have trouble finding the volume buttons at first, but the shape and size make it easy to hold. My family has really enjoyed watching the included movies and shows. There is definitely something for everyone, my toddler loves the learning channel and I love that I can easily get to shows for his specific age group. This Philip's Roku TV is perfect for my family!

We love the large sharp screen. It has worked great for streaming, but I would recommend attaching to an external sound system. It does not get loud enough for the viewing distance for a tv this size. I do with the remote had a few more features for quick access. I would love for Roku remotes to have programmable shortcut buttons, Instead of preprinted ones. I’m sure it has to do with sponsorship dollars.

I've had this tv for a few months now and I love it. I like how fast it boots up and turns off just as fast. I like the ease of finding what I want to watch or getting to the app I need. Screen quality is beautiful and I'm still amazed with what I was missing on my old TV.

Setup was very easy update was fast, the speakers on the tv sounds very nice in a 20’x14’ room no complaints there. Having 3 hdmi hook up is nice with the added USB is a plus, remote is simple and easy to use the voice remote with the remote works great and a nice feature to have. The tv is thin and looks great hanging has a thin bezel, the menu is nicely laid out, easy to switch to cable to games to Hulu and Netflix is a breeze. No complaints and happy with tv.

Audio quality is so-so, but that's true of most Televisions these days. I haven't used the roku and wifi connections much yet either. I have only connected it to cable TV. Picture quality is nice and clear and crisp and very colorful! I would recommend this produce to anyone looking for an affordable smart TV!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am loving the different features on this Philips Roku 4K TV. I had not used Roku before but the platform is easy to setup and easy to use. There are plenty of setting options which are completely customizable. Anything you can think of is there to change to your liking. Yes the HDMI ports on the back are too close together but for those wanting to still use a firestick just use the extender cord that comes with it. You may find you don’t need your firestick with this TV since the main menu is a complete home base option that is customizable depending on which apps you already use and gives the ability to discover new ones. Home also shows what’s connected into the HDMI ports and includes all the most popular channel app shortcuts and a Roku Channel. In the Channel Store it can sort by genres or other categories like Top Free Movies & TV or a section Watch with Cable which lists 87 channel options making it easy to add with one click as long as you have a cable account in order to access. Remote signal reader is on the bottom edge of the tv which makes it difficult to activate if the TV is not on the edge of the cabinet. I would like a larger remote with more button options. There is no input option you have to go to the main roku menu to select a different input. Cool feature when rewinding a show to replay a scene the closed captioning automatically comes on just for the segment I need to listen to again and then auto turns off when I get to the place I started the rewind. Another handy feature I have never seen before is Guest Mode which lets visitors log into their own subscription channels and lets you set the date of departure for auto sign out. Remote Volume control buttons are placed on the right side of the remote which is a new placement and can be awkward to get the hang of especially for left handers. However the volume is generous and much better than my other TVs. Normally I would have it set on 20 to 30 range but this audio is very clear and loud and I find I am using it between 10 to 18 range. Overall an excellent TV with built in streaming and impressive features.

It allows you to easily access your apps to make a quick transition to whatever you would like to watch, the picture quality is very high and clear as well. Light weight and easy to set up! Loved that this is a Roku tv and you are able to access free tv and movies that they provide. Highly recommend and Phillips brand is a trustworthy high quality brand that makes their products well! As you can see in the pictures the remote makes it easy with the quick access buttons to reach Netflix and others.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just set up my new Philips 50” Roku Smart 4K TV and am quite pleased. The LED HDTV with HDR came with a quick start guide which was easy to follow as it stepped through the Wi-Fi, streaming services and local TV channel set up. I really like the Roku features since I already have a Roku account, and once I signed in, I had access to most of my other streaming channels. The 4K HDR picture is crisp although it took some navigating to find the settings to access the advanced brightness and contrast adjustments. One great feature is the ability to insert a USB stick (not included) which allows me to pause local broadcast TV signals for up to 90 minutes and resume where I left off. The remote control is very similar to my other Roku devices, but the volume and mute buttons for the TV are on the side which took some getting used to. I would recommend this TV.

This is our first 4K TV and the picture is absolutely stunning! It was so easy to set up and with Roku we can watch any subscription or show we want. I am so glad not to have the hassle of an Amazon Fire or Apple TV anymore - the Roku is built into the TV. We have hung it in our family room and everyone has commented on how sleek it is - how great the picture is - and the sound quality is also awesome! We have been holding off buying a new tv for awhile because we actually did not like the picture on new tvs - giving soap opera appearance, but we are very happy with the picture on the Philips - Philips 55" Class 4K UHD Roku Smart TV w/ HDR - 55PFL4864/F7!!! Definitely recommend!
