This molding along with the product itself is very beautiful matches any decor very nicely priced. Seamlessly goes from one room to another and a great accent to the product of the flooring. I highly recommend this product for the price, the quality and the styling

I recently used the QuickStep by Mohawk Longview Chestnut Doorway Molding Kit during a laminate flooring project, and in many ways it delivered exactly what I was hoping for. The color match to the Longview Chestnut planks was nearly perfect — the warm chestnut tone carried through nicely, and the molding doesn’t look like an afterthought. It blends seamlessly at threshold points, giving a clean, finished appearance. The kit is easy to work with; the pieces are well machined, with clean edges and consistent shape. Cutting to fit doorways was straightforward, and the included profiles (reducer / threshold / T-molding etc., depending on kit) were exactly what I needed. Installation was helped by the pre-finished nature: no staining or polyurethane needed, which saves time and effort. In terms of durability, I’ve walked over the thresholds a number of times, dragged small furniture pieces across them—minimal scuffing so far, and no evident peeling or separation. There are a few drawbacks though: the molding is thinner than solid wood threshold strips, so it can feel a little less substantial under direct pressure. Also, while the color is a close match, under harsh lighting you can notice a slight difference in sheen versus the floor planks. Finally, pricing seemed a bit premium for what is essentially a finishing accessory.

Haven't had the chance to install this yet but it will be going in my home office. Its nice that it comes in a two pack and will be used for the entrance door and a closet threshold. Should be an easy installation. Color matches perfect with the flooring I got with it.

This transition works great and is easy to install. Makes the switch for different types of floors seem smooth. Even though it's not the exact same color as the floor the kit still works out great to finish off the project.

I got the Longview Chestnut color of Mohawk’s Quick-Step laminate flooring. I am very happy with the coloring of the planks as well as the ease of use. The 4-in-1 doorway kit matches the coloring of the planks very well. I would definitely recommend this product.

This is the pieces that go between rooms in the doorway when you’re doing your flooring job. I don’t have a completed project yet to put these parts in so I can’t really show a picture, but the flooring itself is fine so as long as we install this trim piece correctly, it should all work out well.

We are still remodeling our basement, so we have not had a chance to install this yet but we are super excited to see the finished product. We are new to the DIY realm, so these molding doorway kits are going to be a lifesaver. The flexibility to use the molding kit for various transitions is key. With limited tools and experience, this seems like the perfect solution for us.

The floor lays great and the transition piece was much more difficult to lay. We aren’t professional floor people so I think we did a fairly good job. I’m not sure if the transition piece is a perfect fit (the box was damaged on shipping) so we had to use quite a bit of glue to make it stick. I think that for a seasoned flooring expert this might be an easy install. We just ran across a few issues on the fit. Overall, time and practice would make it easier.

I did not need the threshold but my review is as follows based on multiple installations with click and lock flooring and thresholds. First what I don’t like. I suspect this threshold is not waterproof as the flooring as it appears to be made out of MDF or similar with a thin laminate of material over the T-Molding. Now, what I do like. While the metal track, in my opinion, is ok for wooden floors; however, I am not sure I would use on a concrete basement floor as the flooring is safe for all house levels. It comes with multiple options for transitioning to various floor types. I also really like that the base track is metal and not plastic like others I have used in the past nor the ones that utilize a plastic t-head that you have to hammer into a drilled hole. The interface once you push the t-molding into the track is secure.
