When putting these on a child found that the side seam sometimes come apart and require tape.

We're sorry to hear you've needed tape for the diapers. One of the great features of our pants is that the side seam is designed to be torn open when removing the pant from your baby. If it's tearing easily, it might be an indication that this size is becoming too small for your baby and you may want to consider moving up to a larger size.
