The texture is very soft, very comparable to other pampers diapers. The only thing I noticed is that they run very small, these say 3t/4t but they fit my 27lb 15month old perfectly.

They are my favorite pull-ups because they are thick, don't tear as easily as other brands, and leak less, in my opinion, which is important for overnight especially!
