I’m only a beginner baker so this is extremely helpful to cut out the extra step of making frosting. I added more vanilla essence to enhance the flavour with banana bread.

The texture was a little off, making it hard to get that perfect, smooth finish on my cupcakes. As for the flavor, it wasn’t sweet enough for my liking so I added some puréed strawberries which helped. I expected a richer, more indulgent taste, but it fell flat. It’s not terrible, but I probably won’t be reaching for it again. There are definitely better frosting options out there.

It comes in the perfect amount for a cake with no mess involved. Just open the package, stir and spread. It goes on smooth and easy. A true time saver.

I wasn’t crazy about the additives in it—two of them are considered high risk, which makes me question if it’s worth buying. My mom used it on a banana-nut walnut cake, and while the cake itself was great, the frosting was just okay. If it’s going to have questionable ingredients anyway, I might as well buy a cheaper option. Even though it’s not necessarily expensive, nothing about it really stood out enough to justify the extra cost. One thing I did notice is that it wasn’t as sweet because it only had a moderate amount of sugar, which is good for people watching their sugar intake.
