I have 5 of the original design and love them, I use them for dry goods and needed an extra. It arrived yesterday and the lid does not stay on, it is not secure and no longer airtight. It going back

Great container for pellets or even dog food. I use mine for storing pellets for my grill. The container is made well has water tight seals around the top of the lid. The rest of the container is heavy duty.

Great product, however, it is NOT 40 lbs capacity. It would also be nice if the lid was also clear, its really hard to see how much you are pouring, very inconvenient and creats messes.

I bought this today as it said holds up to 40 lbs. I purchased a 23 pound bag of cat food and it barely fit. So 40 pound is the same no matter what. Disappointed that it couldn't even hold the 23 pounds.

I bought one of these over a year ago and it was great! Then I ordered another but they redesigned the lid, mine WILL NOT stay on, it won't stay latched.

Do not use this for storing pellets for your pellet grill. Not very air tight and will draw moisture and ruin your pellets. First time I thought I didn't have lid down good. Second time I made sure lid was secure and still drew moisture thus ruining a second bag of pellets.

These pellet storage containers fill all my requirements - easy storage of up to 40lbs, quick pour spout, and stackable. I bought 4 for my various wood pellets. I'm not too concerned about outdoor storage as I'm keeping them in my garage. One other bonus - made in the USA!

These are sturdy, well sealing containers BUT the lid smells like perfume. I wanted to store wheat berries in it but not if they are going to smell like perfume. I washed it multiple times and left it to air out. It still stinks. The smell seems to be coming from the seal. I have two other Buddeez containers that don't smell. They don't have this red seal. I'm returning this since I can't use it.
