I sent it through the washing machine as well and saw nothing noticeably different after I took it out. It didn't all bunch together after getting wet like some soft blankets do. This is such a super soft blanket. It feels soft and smooth and thick. I use it on the couch with the air conditioner kicking. My young adult daughter stole it for her room because it is so soft and comfy. Pay attention to the instructions, though!!! It will shed some in the washer and dryer. This is a wash and dry alone blanket! My son threw his wash in with it and had to rewash because of lint. After the first wash, the blanket is just as awesome as out of the package. It is a classically cool design.

This blanket is a good size and I would say medium plush or thickness level. The colors are vibrant and the edges are nicely done. I havent had to wash it yet, but Im thinking it will hold up well as Ive had other blankets from this brand that have held up really well over the years. This will go to my son to use year round.

The one I requested was the Rollingstone, not the one featured on the picture above. I did not open it because it is being given to my boss as a gift. He's into rock n roll. But the colors are vibrant and the material appears to be really soft. I hope he likes it.
