Over priced

Love the pies.

my pot pies were all crust. most had under 4 chicken, 8 peas and couple pieces of carrot. I have not bought for 8 months. I was shocked so few vegetables.

Less %26 less vegetables %26 meat seem to be the problem. Just finished one %26 saw only 2 peas, maybe a piece of celery %26 3 pieces of chicken. Kind of flavorless. My husband felt the same of his. Won't be buying anymore. Sad, we usually buy these every other trip to Sam's!

Something is different in a bad way with the Marie Callender's chicken pot pies that are sold by sam's club. I took a pot pie from the 8 pack from sam's and a pot pie from Walmart and baked them both. The one from Walmart was good quality and was delicious whereas the one from sam's was bland, watery, and off-color. The ingredients and nutritional facts were exactly the same but I'm thinking these 8-packs are lower quality pot pies to make them less expensive. I'd stay away from this value pack. Disappointing.

My family use to love these but i just bought this for dinner tonight and well wont do so again. Back in the day they were packed full of filling (veggies, chicken, gravy). But now you end up with more pie crust than anything else. Granted ot is a tasty pie crust but my daughter was able to pick up the crust and eat it without utensils after eating the top and "filling". I am so tired of everything showing me I cant use convince without losing quality!

I was preparing four of these pies, so I baked them in the conventional oven. I wrapped the edges of the crusts loosely in aluminum foil, baked them on a parchment-lined sheet, and removed the foil the last ten minutes of baking. We used to live in Los Angeles and would enjoy the Marie Callendars chicken pot pies at their restaurant, which was like an upscale coffee shop near LAX. When the freezer version came out, they were not too shabby, but over the decades they just got worse and worse to the point where I hadn't purchased them for years. Recently, facing a potential devastating snow and ice storm this February 2026, I bought this box at Sam's for an easy meal. We were surprised at how good they were. The balance of sauce and crust, both very flavorful BTW, was excellent. The carrots have a bit of texture yet are fully cooked. The chicken tastes like it was pre-marinated, and holds its own flavor nicely. There is also a good balance between saltiness and actual flavor. Overall, very good and we will buy again.

Horrible, never crisps up, bottom is goey. Neither the microwave nor the oven cook these correctly. We threw gobs of dough away. Tokd them I wanted a refund and they refused to send me my money and sent coupons for more. DO NOT BUY! Cheap Banquet ones cook better now. These jave changed after covid and they are BAD!

These are okay. Better than some of the other brands. But they are oddly inconsistent. I will randomly have a pot pie with a sliver of celery, and won't see celery again in the next 6 pot pies. One pot pie might only have one slice of carrot, while the next has a bunch. The chicken is pretty decent overall, but there will randomly be a tough, chewy, fatty piece. Again, not in every pot pie.

I won't be buying these again. They were very dry nowhere near enough gravy. After trying twi threw the rest away.
