Hard to assemble

This was a fun and simple project to put together. We bought it to display, so although it came with furniture, we chose to make some of our own. To further personalize it, we redid the walls using cardstock for wallpaper and added a French door in the back. We also installed battery powered lights. For a child to play with it is great left just the way it comes. We plan on ordering a different one in the future and personalize it as well.

This was an excellent buy for our 3 year old. she loves it and her 6 year old sister plays with it also! love the modern style. And it seems well built. The only downside is, it doesnt come with people. We bought them separately.

This is an adorable dollhouse for a great price. I wouldn't necessarily call it an heirloom piece because it's not all wood, but it does seem pretty sturdy. It took about an hour to build, and then my daughter decorated it for Christmas. She is using it for her crochetted animals. Taking the roof piece off to play might be a little challenging for young kids

My family has had this doll house for a year now. It is absolutely gorgeous but we had a freak accident. Our cat got in the doll house and got stuck in the bottom window. Just watch out with small pets! There is no way to break the wood if anything gets stuck in the window.

the house is cute, well made and easy to assemble. unfortunately there was a quality control issue and one of my front windows has 3 shutters....one of each side of the window and one above the window, crooked and obviously an error. the only way to assemble the house was to remove the incorrectly placed/extra upper shutter...it pulled off paint when I did that which is frustrating. this wasnt realized until the point of almost completing the dollhouse. if i return it i have to take it all apart and attempt to fit all screws and pieces back in the box. see the photos.

The quality of the dollhouse materials are amazing ,doll house is a perfect size. The furniture is incredible. The downside to the doll house. The instructions there OK I wish they were better and the holes to put the screws in for the hinges. I had to use a small screwdriver in those holes to try to make them bigger so I can get the screws in Otherwise OK to put together .using a power drill makes it go faster. I put battery operated small tea lights in each room. It looks incredible.

Very beautiful and heavy! A lady can build it, but it is heavy! It requires skills and patience to build it. It took me awhile to finish it. The quality isn't bad. There was one missing screw. I won't pay full price for it. Overall, good purchase.

awesome dollhouse! But beware! if this is for a christmas gift, it does not come in another box!!! Sam's puts diaper boxes and wipes boxes etc into another box but not this dollhouse! my girl saw the box and will no longer be surprised Christmas morning.
