Finishing off my supply, I'm ready to reorder, and I discover they are out of stock. I hope they are not discontinued, because I love a dozen of these in my morning oatmeal with blackberries from my garden. They also go well on a microwave torch s'more.

I have used these Vanilla Melting Wafers for a few years since Sam's discontinued carrying the Ghirardelli brand. Originally the Sam's brand was a great match to the Ghirardelli in both texture and taste. Unfortunately this year the wafers were nowhere near the quality they have been in the past. The wafers once melted, did not stay smooth, but began to clump up which made dipping difficult. The taste was an overly sweet vanilla, almost like a Funfetti cake flavor, or like my son said, “it tastes like a Lucky Charms marshmallow.” You could smell the sweetness as soon as you opened the bag. I actually had a small amount left over from the previous Christmas season and there is an obvious difference. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE bring back the original recipe because it does affect the taste of the treats!

These were a huge disappointment. The product is completely different from prior years, and is a cheap imitation of the wafers that were formerly sold. I've purchased multiple bags for Christmas candy and cookie making in years past, and the difference was obvious the moment I opened the first package. I won't purchase these again.

Yuck! What happened to these? They have a grainy texture when melted and taste awful! They stink too. More of a cotton candy scent than vanilla. Very disappointed. Won't be buying these anymore.

These did not melt well and taste absolutely awful..like those cheap white chocokate easter bunnies from the dollar store. I cant have regular chocolate so i go for vanilla flavored baking chips and tbese have been the absolute worse from all tbe different ones I've tried

used to be able to get Giardelli white chocolate melts but they did not have at my store so i bought Members Mark. seemed ok but this year i bought to make a peanut pretzel chex cereal mix for Christmas They taste VERY vanilla-ish. Way too far vanilla taste Go back to old recipe or carry Giardellis.

I used it as intended and it hardened very quickly, even after dumping it into a chocolate melter. It gets hard after i tried melting it a second time. The taste is good but its very grainy and feels like sand is mixed in. I basically wasted a whole bag trying to dip things.

After reading the great reviews, I'm wondering if I received a bad batch. Using both a double boiler and a separate bowl/batch in the microwave, the chocolate immediately seized on both and was unusable. I was very careful not to expose the wafers to any moisture, so I'm almost positive it wasn't an error on my part. The taste is also intolerably artificial, so in the future I will stick to almond bark for my holiday baking.

They definitely don't taste like white chocolate. My daughter said, “They taste like Lucky Charms.” Good job the smell is so strong because that alone told me not to use them for our hand dipped truffles. I wish they would bring back the big bag of Ghirardelli white chocolate. They are so much better. Yes, they melt beautifully but taste awful.

I wanted to make my neighbors a little Christmas gift, so I decide on Christmas bark!! This was FANTASTIC!! No burning, no scorching, just wonderful!!! Melted the wafers, poured onto parchment paper, then I covered with Christmas pretzels, Christmas non pareils, and potato chips. It's delicious 😋. Great product!!!!!
