Be extremely careful with the trial period!! It is not hassle free at all! They have a lot of conditions that will completely void the trial period, including a catch-all “changes in circumstances” clause. Every email you send is linked to your order. If the first email you send doesn’t use the words “comfort level isn’t what I wanted”, they will void the trial period. For example, we wanted to return the queen we bought and buy a king. Despite them making more money in this exchange, they immediately voided my full trial period since that first email talked about “size issues”, not comfort level. And yes, the voiding information is on their site, but its buried as far down as possible to avoid detection. If the trial period is a deciding factor for you (it was for us), skip Ghostbed and go with someone else. The mattress is decent, but nothing great. Definitely not worth the cost.

The ghostbed luxe is great temperature wise. It felt nice and cool but this is partially due to my percale sheets, use the wrong sheets and you will be sweating. Initially it felt way too firm. So I walked on it for about 10 minutes and it started feeling better. BUT I noticed every morning I was waking up with shoulder/back pain. This seemed to start getting worse so I rotated the mattress. After rotating it felt too firm again and the pain reduced but did not disappear completely... so it is not as supportive as it needs to be and it's advertised as medium plush like you're sleeping on a cloud... well I didn't feel like I'm sleeping on a cloud... I guess I'm not heavy enough to sink in deep enough. 30 days in and it should be getting more comfortable not less comfortable :(

Having a hard time finding sheets that will actually stay on the mattress. I’ve tried ordering GhostBed sheets but there has been some major mixups with the shipping. I’m unable to reach them by phone it puts you straight to voicemail and like most people I do not answer phone numbers I do not know so it’s becoming an endless cycle of phone tag. I will say they have contacted me by email so I am trying that route to see if the problem gets resolved.

I had my doubts about buying a "Mattress in a Box." I am here to say that this bed is AMAZING!!! I bought this bed after being displaced by Hurricane Michael for about 60 days. I am Active duty Military. I can say it was the best night's sleep I'd had during the whole time. Sleeping on random hotel bed after random hotel bed got old quick. I woke up with persistent lower back pain. It took a few nights on this bed, but as soon as I got settled in my new place I woke up with no pain at all. This matress is billed as the "Coolest Bed," and I can confirm that. Every time I get in bed it is cool to the touch, and it stays that way all night. I am completely HAPPY!!!

From online advice and ordering to delivery and unpacking, the process of purchasing my Ghostbed Luxe mattress was easy. It arrived in a couple of days, and it only took me a couple of days to adjust to it. It's super comfortable, no more waking with hot flashes, and no more back pain when I roll over or get out of bed. I'm actually getting a decent night's sleep!

I listened to the drinkin bros rant about this bed for a while and figured they were getting paid to talk about it. PCSed to a new duty station and needed a new bed so figured why not. Without a doubt the most comfortable bed I've ever bought and their king size cost less than the last queen sized mattress I bought.

Overall I’m happy with our GhostBed. The set up was easy, I love the look of the frame and we still can’t get over how a king size mattress arrived in such a small box. The mattress isn’t as firm as our old mattress, which is good, but still seem a little firmer than I would have like. The memory foam stays cool at night so that’s nice.

We both get hot at night when we sleep. I, a woman of a certain age, often wake up wet with sweat. This bed is a game-changer. I don't know how it works, but it's cozy when you get in bed, and stays a comfortable temperature all night. It is on the firm side, but comfortable. I'm a kinetic sleeper (I move a lot) and my husband likes that he doesn't feel my "flipping and flopping" (his words) with this mattress.

When I ordered this bed it was supposed to be one of the softest beds (according to the GhostBed website) but when we received it the bed felt firm. It takes a little while for the bed to soften up a little bit. Still not quite AS soft as I would like but pretty decent.

Cooling, soft, perfect amount of firmness and no springs to poke me (like my old mattress). I’m an over analyzer. When we were looking at buying a mattress, I literally had a spreadsheet. We finally went with Ghostbed because of several factors: American made, amazing reviews, lifetime warranty and amazing customer service. They beat out all of the other companies. It was worth the research and investment. I haven’t slept this good in years!
