This mattress has been a game changer for me, I am consistently getting good sleep now. No more waking up hot and having to throw off the covers, this mattress somehow keeps me cooler. And I love that it can be used on an adjustable base despite its thickness. Perfect balance between soft and firm.

I sleep well without my body being stiff in the middle of the night as I was experiencing with my old mattress. Before, it was difficult to take a breath because of the feeling my grandmother would have called a "CATCH IN MY BACK". Just having that relief is magnificent!!! Now my body moves well and I am rested when I awaken. Tammy, the Ghostbed rep was the real bonus. She was very personable and made me feel like family. Ghostbed and Tammy.... Friends for life!!!

I've been sleeping in my ghost bed for a little over a month now, and it is the best rest I've had in ages! I'm a very warm sleeper - my entire life. My biggest challenge with any bed is finding something that doesn't trap heat and radiate back up at me. This bed has been wonderful! I cannot recommend it enough.

My husband and I go through at least 2 mattress toppers per year. We purchased this mattress hoping we wouldn't have to buy toppers anymore. I don't think we'll need to for a while. It is the most supportive and comfortable mattress we've ever slept on.

We are still in our trial period but at this point it looks and feels like a keeper. We were concerned because this Ghostbed is firmer than our higher end “pillow top” mattress. My wife repeatedly has said she wakes without back pain or stiffness. We both like that it controls movement transfer so we do not disturb each other especially as one of us is awake earlier in the morning.

I bought the Member's Mark Adjustable Base (Queen size) and needed a mattress that would work with that. I spent quite a bit of time reading reviews on the Sam's site and researching online. I had never bought a mattress that I didn't see and try in a store before. This mattress gets some good reviews and some people addressed some things that mattered to me so I decided to try it. It's darned heavy! It comes rolled up into a box and that box is not the heavy duty cardboard you see in the GhostBed unpacking videos. Nope! This box was thin and arrived torn. There was NO WAY you could use the cutout handles to move it without the box ripping. The delivery person found that out, and later so did we. It was very hard to move this box so we had to tear the box off the mattress and then use straps to lift the rolled mattress up and get it into the bedroom. Getting it onto the bed base was a real chore too. So heavy. Don't let the GhostBed setup video fool you either. Getting that plastic casing off was a bear and then unrolling the mattress and pulling the plastic all the way off was a real chore. I don't know what kind of packaging they had in the video but it sure wasn't what my mattress was wrapped up in! That said, once the mattress was freed from the plastic and unrolled and set into place on the bed base, it was nice looking and appears to be of good quality. But, it has a chemical odor and here it is almost two weeks later and it still stinks. When I get into it at night the smell is very bothersome but it is slowly flashing off and not as bad. At this rate though I'd say I'll be smelling it for at least two more weeks. In the meantime I got sleep in my recliner when the smell gets to be too much. If I was going to sleep on my back this mattress would be too soft for me (the foam top) but I need to sleep inclined for an injury and once I have the base adjusted for my head and feet, this mattress is pretty comfortable. It also bends easily which not all mattresses do. Of course, it's made for that and that's why it's softer than what I'm used to. I think that this adjustable bed and mattress combo will work well once the smell is gone and I'm glad that I can start sleeping in the bedroom again instead of in my recliner all the time. I love my recliner for sleeping, it's super comfy, but I'd rather be in bed and this is enabling me to do that. Overall I gave this mattress four stars because I think it's probably a good fit for me despite the frustration with the packaging (torn up box) and the difficulty in getting the mattress to unroll so I could get the plastic off and set it into place. All of that is behind me now and I'm looking forward to some good sleep on a pretty comfy mattress.

Ordered two Twin XL mattresses. Both arrived with damaged packaging (FEDEX) but the contents appears to be intact as they are wrapped well by the manufacturer. Upon unboxing (not an easy chore by one's self!) and allowing the mattresses to inflate, two flaws were noted. First, one mattress had an obvious flaw in the cover that was either an issue at the factory or with the materials used. The under-edge of the outer mattress cover appeared to be damaged (fraying). The second issue, and common to both mattresses was the obvious misalignment between the DuoCoil innersprings and the top layers of the mattress. Both mattresses were bulging from the innerspring layers and not properly aligned with the top mattress layers. Rather than return them to Sam's, I followed the manufacturer's (Ghost Bed) instructions to contact them directly. They exhibited obvious concern and after submitting photos and a description of the flaws they immediately replaced both mattresses, apologizing profusely. I received two new mattresses and again, there was shipping damage to the outer boxes (FEDEX). After unboxing, the mattresses appear to be ok but will let them "inflate" for a day or two, rotating their resting position so they may inflate/expand properly. I applaud Ghost Bed's rapid response but was disappointed in the quality of the first two mattresses due to the aforementioned flaws. Hopefully, the new mattresses will fair well.

Mattress seems comfortable, but is running smaller than queen size. Instead of 60 inches, it is about 58 inches. Also, it is splitting at seam in 2 spots

Bought this mattress based on the great reviews and the words “medium plush.” My husband prefers a somewhat softer top bed and I prefer much more firm. We thought this might satisfy both our needs. The bed arrived and it is HEAVY! But, we thought that's good because it's well made and meant to last for that 25 year warranty! What we now think is that this bed was half concrete. It was so incredibly firm… dare I say HARD. We gave it a week and kept hoping we would start to see some improvement and learn to love it. What we found however, is we were both waking up with a low back ache and by day 7, we were dreading going to bed. We returned it. Good thing about the mattress: very nice side support. Not good: it's freaking hard and not comfortable at all. It's also very heavy making it hard to maneuver.

Garbage! The foam and coils in the hip area collapsed after two weeks. Now i have a valley in the middle of the mattress that causes severe lower back pain every night. I now have to trash it and buy somrthing good. Don't buy unless you weigh under 100 lbs.
