For my husband and I, it is the perfect combination of firm, with a soft give on the top. I did read comments stating that people over a certain amount of weight didn’t find it firm enough.My husband is 160 pounds and I am 118 pounds.We had a little issue with a previous order and customer service took care of us immediately.I would actually call their customer service-Amazing.I didn’t think that existed anymore.I would give them 10 stars if I could.Back to the bed, we have owned it for 2+ weeks, for the first time in 37+ years. I am sleeping through the night.I can’t feel my husband tossing and turning during the night.I am very sensitive – I have major issues, being on long-term Chemo – intervenous chemo started in 2009 while I battled with multiple cancers... the last 4 1/2 years, I have been on Pill form, Chemo, that I will be on for the rest of my life.My husband says, that for me to be so happy with this mattress is kind of a miracle... Everything bothers me.Note: please excuse any grammar and spelling errors. I am speaking into my phone because of my blindness.I think this is the first review I’ve ever taken the time to voice my feelings.I will be recommending the bed to all my family and friends.I hope this mattress- Venus Williams Legend- will be the best mattress you have ever slept on.Best of health to you, and your loved ones!

I have a very restless sleeper of a husband who unknowingly elbows me in the face from time to time. In addition, I have three small children who always want to snuggle in my bed with the early mornings. We had a queen bed mattress…. I slept on 16 inches of space every night. Also, it was an old mattress that would roll me to the middle if I let my guard down. Fed up, I bought the king sized ghostbed Luxe. The firmness is just right, the cooling pad is awesome, the space in between my husband and I…. Priceless!!!! I don’t wake up feeling like I was rolled over by a steam roller. Then slammed into be a semi. We’ve had the mattress for 2 weeks. Hopefully it lasts 20 more years.

I got this mattress because I saw that it is good for people that have fibromyalgia and arthritis. The mattress is actually quite comfortable, the pillow that came with it is also super comfy also. I also get hot at night when I sleep and this mattress said it has a cooling effect. It’s true, the material of the mattress is soft and cool. The mattress itself is quite firm but comfortable at the same time. Do I recommend this mattress? Yes.

I wish it was softer. It's very nice and sleeps cool. How they made the top always feel cold is amazing. However it is very similar in firmness to the all latex mattress I replaced but doesn't provide the same pressure relief. I'm 5'10 210 and very dense. I wake with tingling arms constantly. My wife is 120 and doesn't sink in enough. It's too firm for either of us as side sleepers and I'm afraid I will be returning it when the 30 day window has been met. I want to love it but it's not the right mattress for us. I gave it 4 stars because if the firmness is right for you it is a great bed!

We bought the adjustable base with our mattresses and we have had some of the best sleep we've had in years. Literally do not want to get up out of bed in the morning... That's a good thing right? For the adults...make sure you pick a side for the deed, they like to spread apart if on a smooth floor surface.

My hubby and I are loving this bed! A friend has one and suggested it.!It feels firm when you first lay down, then oh so comfy. I am able to sleep through the night without my usual discomfort from a shoulder issue. I will be recommending this to others.

My husband and I just received our Ghostbed Luxe mattresses (2 twin XL to make a Split King bed). I like the way it feels as a memory foam mattress but have not found it to be cooling. My husband is finding the Luxe mattress to be firmer than he likes.

I've had the GB Luxe King for a month now. At first I LOVED the way it felt! No tossing and turning, no back pain. Now, I'm not sure that I love it as much. The frame I purchased with the bed absolutely needs attached to headboard and footboard...the corners of the frame are brutal on the shins. Also, not wood floor friendly. I have struggled to keep the bed from scooting away from the wall even after felt pads/furniture coasters, etc. The bed sits very low to the ground...even after adjusting the height. It also almost seems that part of the bed has sunk in already. Will continue to monitor...

Switched from Sleep Number (which was returned within the trial period) to Ghost Bed and couldn't be happier. Set-up was simple, even with the adjustable frame. The hardest part of set-up was getting the frame out of the box. All instructions were easy to follow. My wife loves it, which is a hugh plus also. No more back ache when waking up.It's only been a couple weeks, but I can't imagine even thinking about brand. Thanks Ghost Bed.

Just past my first month with my new adjustable base ghost bed and I am I have comes realize I had no idea what a good night sleep was until now. I am a bigger guy so when I slept on many old bed in past. I would wake up every time a different body part would fall asleep ex: my shoulder from sleeping in my side so I wake up and turn over to other side just to have it fall asleep and wake me up an hour later. But now since I have a balance GhostBed I slept 6 hours straight for the first time since I was a child. Some people might not seem like 6 hours straight is a lot but when you spent your life barely getting an hour at a time before have to switch sides or fall back asleep it is a life time. I have never enjoyed going to sleep and waking up in my life it is the best investment I have made into my health in a long time.
