Ultra firm mattresses are not for everyone. You have to understand that this mattress is nothing like any of prior mattresses you have used. It will shock you the first time you lay down on it, But ! Once you use this Ultra firm mattress for a few weeks and break it in , you will no longer be able to sleep on regular mattresses like firm, medium or soft. Everyone says that their mattress is the best mattress ever but it’s relative. This is an excellent mattress that has excellent support and I believe that is much healthier for your back and body

Just having to have emergency hamstring reattachment surgery to where I was laid up in bed for almost 6 weeks I was so afraid that I wouldn't be comfortable and not be able to get any rest to heal. That couldn't have been further from the truth. This mattress is firm and holds my body. I don't "sink in" like foam mattresses. It has just enough give in the padding on the very top so that you know you're not laying on " a board". I can only be comfortable being on firm mattresses and this is extremely helpful to my back and to my recovery for my hamstring. I wouldn't give this mattress up if God himself asked me for it. This mattress is that good and it's beautiful!.

I get up in the morning with less aches, especially in my hips and back. The mattress is very firm, but it feels really soft to the touch. The mattress is pretty thick, so you will need bed sheets with deep pockets. The mattress is very firm and can withstand a great amount of weight to it. It does not get hot and stays cool throughout the night. It was very easy to install. The mattress itself is well-made and seems durable, but it was too firm for my needs. The description of ultra-firm is 100% accurate. It was like sleeping on top of a blanket laid on concrete. The true issue was the horrible support for the return process. I spent literal hours on the phone and emailing Sam's support, getting pick up scheduled, etc. And even after pickup the credit took 15 calendar days (10 business days) before it happened, and it only happened after I emailed and called AGAIN after not recieving the credit in the 5-7 business days that were originally estimated.
