This replaced an older Hoover model I was pleased with before it finally gave up after many years of use. Very pleased with the new one. Very simple to assemble. Lighter and therefore smoother to operate. Cleaned the carpet with half the water use of the prrevious one. Wish the cord was just a little bit longer so I wouldn't have to switch outlets to finish my carpet.

I used this the first time and I was in total shock at how well it worked and the best part is the heating mechanism allows you to walk on the carpet not too long after its been cleaned. I have used others and I normally have to wait the whole day and night before its ready to walk on. This machine deep cleans, get stains out and leave the carpet soft and not crunchy hard. I am in absolute love with Hoover SmartWash+ Automatic Carpet cleaner. It was very easy to assemble with little to no effort needed. Instructions were absolutely easy to understand. I have dealing with very penetrating pet stains and my children spilling drinks and food on my carpets. I really wanted a Carpet cleaner that would go above and beyond cleaning stains out. I have to say, this is the absolute best. It really sucks out those stubborn stains from my carpet. I was shocked to see how dirty my carpet really was by looking at the very filthy water. Wow, this is absolutely magical. I really like that after a good clean this amazing cleaner leaves my carpet minimally damp because this vaccuum has a very powerful extraction with HeatForce which helps with faster drying. I bought this cleaner because,I can take it all apart and throughly clean every part. No dirty particles or hair left in the cleaner,that is awesome! The great thing it is easy to assemble and use. I love the cleaning job it does and you can get a room done in such a short time,and dry it,and back on it in no time flat! I trust Hoover for a great cleaner!

I am always impressed with all of the products Hoover makes. Not only are they easy to use, but set up is easy, as well. I think it's important that they are easy to use, also. They work so well. Much better than a professional grade cleaner. I am obsessed with this device and will not own anything other than a Hoover. I ordered my machine last week and received today. I am SO impressed.. I have owned several carpet cleaners for I have pets and this by far in the best I have ever had. Cleans very well, gets in that deep down dirt, powerful suction and drying. Super easy to clean up after use. I am so so so very happy! My carpet look almost brand new again and it is 20 years old.

Bought it to test how good it would perform on a terribly dirty, light beige carpet. Years of traffic stains gave us little hope that it would work. If it didn't work we would return it for a refund. Much to our surprise it left a barely visible trace. We keeping our Hoover!

We cleaned 5 carpeted rooms with our new SmartWash carpet cleaner, and we were so pleased with the results. It did a great job of cleaning and the drying process was amazing. We went over it again with it just on dry, and the carpet was ready to put stuff back on it within an hour of cleaning it. We have cats, and it got up all the stains we were not able to get up by spot cleaning the carpets. We used the free and clear detergent and it worked great on all stains.

I got my SmartWash automatic carpet cleaner last week. I tried it today for the first time. I love this carpet cleaner. Its lightweight and has great suction. It's never been so easy for me to clean carpet or spot clean. This shampoo solution is fabulous. It even removed old spots that wouldn't come clean. The first one I purchased didnt pickup water and Hoover replaced it immediately. I'm very pleased with this carpet cleaner.
