Bright illumination, even on low. There are three brightness levels. From a full charge, the brightest setting lasts about 2 hours 45 minutes. The mid setting lasts about 5 hours 15 minutes, and was nearly as bright as the highest setting. The low setting lasts about 8.5 hours. I'm not sure just how useful the solar charging will be. According to the instructions, it takes 12-14 hours of sunlight for a full charge. This may only be useful to top off a charge after momentary usage. Charging via USB takes about three hours. About the only minus for this lantern is that it does not have a charge indicator. The only charge indications are when the lantern shuts itself off when the battery is fully discharged, and when the charging LED changes from red to green when it reaches full charge. I will find this lantern very useful for the occasional power outages. I will also use it for illumination when grilling after dark.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The 1000 Lumen rechargeable solar lanterns from Westinghouse are absolutely amazing and something you are going to wish you had not only on a camping trip but in any situation where you need light and portable power to charge other important devices like your phone with the C-Type port and Standard USB port and with the added bonus of having two solor panels built into the top of the lantern that charges the light very fast and a battery that lasts for a very long time. These come in a pack of two, so you could use one solely for charging your phone if you wanted and the other for the lantern features. It has multiple light features that are solid bright white, solid med. dim white, solid low dim white, strobe slow red, and strobe fast red for emergency situations. I have used these lanterns a ton in a wide range of applications, including late night Grilling/Smoking, automotive, dealing with livestock, etc. and I always keep them in the back of my Jeep. They are fairly small and super lightweight, so they are stored and carry easily, but despite that, they are very durable in my experience and extremely bright. 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These lanterns are super bright! I love that they can recharge via solar power. They can also recharge via a USB-C cable, which was included. The only thing I’d change is that I’d have a separate button for on/off. There is only one button, and to turn the lantern off you have to press the button 5x to cycle through the brightness levels and the emergency red light. Other than that, it’s perfect and I wouldn’t change anything else!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I honestly wasn’t expecting it to be this bright, but it ended up lighting my whole master bedroom during a power outage. That alone sold me on it. I really like that it has solar charging, so I don’t have to rely on outlets, and the USB port is very useful. I was able to charge my phone when the power was out. It’s lightweight, easy to carry and simple to use. Definitely something I’m keeping for emergencies and taking camping too. I’m planning to keep one in the house and one in the car. These could also make a really great practical gift.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are super bright, they have 3 levels then a red and an sos mode. The photos is on the lowest form of brightness and yet are still bright. They have solar panel recharge an also rechargeable through a cord. You are also able to put a chord in and charge your phone from them. They are very light weight as well.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] They were great for our camping site during night time if we need to have light on without wires. The best thing I love these lights are no assembly needed even for first use. I think it worth its values for these type of using purposes.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These lamps really impressed me. They are easy to use, include two red emergency lights, and provide plenty of illumination. They feature both USB and solar charging. I absolutely loved them! They are perfect for camping trips or emergencies. The charge lasts a long time, and their size is perfect- very practical.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These lanterns are amazing. They are the perfect size and weight. They were clearly built well. They are extremely bright and have great easy controls to change the color of the lights to red and flashing setting.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These lanterns are highly praised for their impressive, 1000 lumen output, which is bright enough to illuminate large campsites or serve as a reliable primary light source during power outages. With a dual solar and USB-C charging offers, great versatility, keep in mind that the battery drains quickly on the highest setting, so they are best used on medium or low for long-term reliability.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These lanters are very impressive! They were so bright that I was startled right when I pressed the power button and it turned on. Definitely lit up my whole room. Not too big and bulky either making it good for traveling and not taking up too much space. I was also impressed by the red emergency lights included after pressing through the settings. It has 5 light settings including 2 red light ones. I am glad the charging will be easy as well since it uses the common charger cable type C that I use for my cellphone so will always have one with me and don't have to worry about not losing a specific charger.
