It is heavier than my standard pans but I believe it is the reason why it cooks beautifully and gives an even heat every time with very little or no grease. I used on different occasions and it never stick so it cleans so easily. I do really loved it so much that i think we gonna buy a full set of this brand.

I'm not sure if you're supposed to put it in the dishwasher but I've used it multiple times and put it in dishwasher and it still works great!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Original GreenPan, Valencia Collection 12” Frypan is a nice quality, premium non-stick frying pan. The Original GreenPan cookware is uniquely recognizable by the mineral enhanced, Thermolon ceramic non-stick coating which is green in color. The construction of the Original GreenPan, Valencia Collection 12” Frypan appears to be high quality! The body of the frying pan is constructed of thick, cast aluminum which is anodized. The shape of the side of the pan near the bottom appears to indicate that a heat dispersion disk is bonded to the bottom of the pan which provides an absolutely flat base which does not rock on the stove and is intended to evenly distribute heat at the cooking surface. The bottom of the frying pan is rough textured. GreenPan describes this feature as being the “Magneto Induction Base”, which is further described as being a magnetic base which is designed to provide excellent performance on all cooktops, including induction cooktops. The 8.5” bright stainless steel handle is curved and contoured, and is very comfortable to hold. The handle is tightly attached to the body of the pan with two large rivets that appear to be very secure. The User Guide states that the handle is oven safe to 600° F. The frying pan weighs 2 pounds, 8.6 ounces (1151 grams). The frying pan measures 12” in diameter at the top and 9” in diameter at the bottom. The curved sides measure 2.25” deep. The handle is non-insulated metal and can get very hot therefore requiring appropriate, cautious handling. The non-stick internal ceramic coating appears to perform very well, and hopefully will remain effective and durable over the long-term. Most non-stick coatings eventually fail or wear after varying intervals of use and possible abuse. Non-stick cookware should not be exposed to excessively high temperatures, particularly when dry/empty. No cookware stays perfect after being burned, but nonstick cookware will almost always suffer permanent damage. The manufacturer claims that this nonstick coating is free of PFOA, PFAS, lead and cadmium and is oven and broiler safe. GreenPan claims that the non-stick coating is metal utensil safe, chip and scratch resistant. GreenPan claims that the nonstick coating is safe for use with metal utensils. I never use metal utensils with any nonstick cookware and only use silicone, plastic or wood implements to preserve the integrity of the bonded, nonstick coating. The GreenPan 12” frypan performs well on the stove. I measured relatively even heating on the bottom surface. GreenPan packaging and documentation does not refer to use of this frying pan on ceramic/glass cooktops. Given the rough texture of the bottom of the frying pan, I do not know whether or not if it would be wise to use it on a. smooth-top range. Cleanup was extremely easy. The nonstick surface meets expectations and cleans very easily with just a sponge and dish soap, with very little effort and no need for difficult scrubbing. After repeated cooking, washing and drying, the interior and exterior of the pan, inclusive of the nonstick coating, still appear as if brand new. The GreenPan cookware, has a two year warranty for the nonstick coating, and the rest of the product is warranted for the lifetime of the purchaser. Overall, the GreenPan, Valencia Collection 12” Frypan is very nice. It is apparently well designed and constructed and appears to be robust. I hope that it will also be very durable for the long-term. I have every expectation that this frying pan will serve us well for a very long time. It is performing very well now, and certainly meets or exceeds expectations.

Best pan for low and slow cooking. Made my pork chops extra tender and delish! We’ve made sauces and all kinds of stuff. Nothing sticks and super easy to clean! Can’t go wrong!

I am very happy with this Frying Pan. The pan is made very good and is heavy, which is what I like; I don't care for thin, light pans. They do not last ling and also burn things.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Loving this pan. It is so durable, not cheap or flimsy in any way. It also has a perfect fitting heavy duty lid. The best part is nothing sticks! It’s amazing. And so much easier to eat healthy. No oils or butters necessary. Clean up is a breeze as well. Highly recommend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am so happy with my new Green Pan - Valencia 12in frypan. I've made wonderful quesadillas and needed almost no butter and they came out so good. The pan fully heats in all area's for even cooking. I also made bacon and eggs this morning for breakfast and was so suprised how quickly it cooked and it did not even stick. I was able to use the oils from the bacon itself and it cooked up even and crisp and the eggs were fluffy and delicious. I am so happy with this frypan and would love to add more from this line to my cookware. Definitely an investment.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is probably going to be our new favorite pan for all around cooking. This pan seems to heat up using lower heat settings and retain the heat without having to turn the heat up. Cleanup is a breeze!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Green Pan Valencia Frypan is absolutely wonderful! I cook six days a week and love hosting at my house so this pan gets A LOT of use. The pan heats up beautifully and doesn't burn, it's very durable! Not to mention is a very big size so I can easily make a big meal in one pan. The pan cleans very simple usually with just a wipe of a cloth! The non-stick is also very wonderful on this pan. I highly recommend the Valencia Frypan to everyone!
